I'm sorry but that's total rubbish. Liverpool finished on 86 points that season, and played some excellent football in doing so. In fact, in many other seasons that points total would have been enough to win them the title, it's just that an exceptional United side earned 90 points.

His (deservedly) comment at the end sums him up perfectly. Hates Liverpool so would rather make up a reason for why they did so well than accept it was because they had a good season. Stick him on ignore and enjoy the quality and smaller length of the SA forum more
