***SPOILERS*** Football 30 Apr - 2 May 2010/2011

So surely its best if you have no Euro games next season ( better to have the rest inbetween "English" games than have a "euro" game that means nothing)

The Europa offers a good opportunity to bring some of our younger players into the mix. We have a wealth of players who deserve much more game time than they get, but there was barely a game for us this season that wasn't too important to risk.

I think we'd benefit in the long run from a Europa League season.

How is it ignoring the facts your saying its only fair and putting stuff down to luck Well UTD have had plenty so have chelsea so have we and every other club, Doesnt mean we all like it or agree with it but it happens.

UTD Lost today simples doesnt mean you have lost the title your still 3pts clear okay would have been 6 if Chelsea didnt get their luck right or wrongly they did and i agree it was wrong but nothing can be done.

I guess you are forgetting the FACT about Fletcher getting the ball in a legitimate tackle against Chelsea last season, which was given as a Chelsea Free kick, where the only goal of the game was scored directly from - which effectively won you the title!!!

You also had a lot of home decisions this season (ie pen against Terry in 1st half against Utd where he blatantly leant into the path of the ball and hit his shoulder/upper arm which)

Some tend to balance out - yesterday was never likely to balance out, it was clear Chelsea favouritism

Considering yesterday you cant really think that with a straight face!!

If Hernandez got the decisions Chelsea got (esp for their 2nd yesterday) - Utd would have won 3 - 1 today and he would be the top scorer in the league (over the season, rather than just because of today)

Even considering Vidic's handball (which I dont deny) Utd deserve a lot of "re-balancing" next weekend, otherwise thiats two titles Chelsea have won unfairly

That's the thing though, there luck seems to be turning at the right time, it would be typical of the game for them to beat us and take the title after what happened yesterday, much like last season and the offside decision, that's why I doubt.

Think you'll be able to improve and hold on to players despite no Champions league football?

Yes. It's clear which areas are lacking in our side. I'd like to think our current key players see the potential and will respond to some activity in the transfer window to see this deficiency rectified.

Tbh it will take an allmighty **** up from man city not to get 4th, but if they do the way things are going it looks like Liverpool would be more likely to snatch it than spurs.

You reckon you will get 5th skip?

That depends on if the squad can pull itself together and not freefall. The next few weeks and the summer transfer window is where Redknapp will really be judged.

Considering i support Liverpool it won me sod all :P Im not disputing anything your saying but my whole point is to say you might lose the title down luck on one said game isnt fully right is it when their is 38 you should blame it on the games you lost unless all them are due to luck aswell.

Imo i think UTD will still win the title, Your at home to Chelsea and your home record this year has been very good so it will take Chelsea to do something special and if they start with Drogba and Torres which so far is barely working that would suit you even more.

CC or 1st round of the FA - surely thats less important than any game in europe (ie why will it make any difference what Euro comp you are in?

Just out of interest

I honestly think it will have dire long term situation for you if you dont get back into CL immediately (just from lots of $$$ going into Liverpool, some day soon Everton will have a good start to a season - and therefore could push for CL positions)

Without considering the possibility of even more mega money being spent on squads above you already .....ie a bigger gap at the end of next season between the top 4 and the rest

Ok my mistake (but even more understandable why you dont want Utd winning the 19th title lol, biased even more for different reasons lol :D) - it still made a 3 point difference with little amount of games to make that up

Every big team gets minor decisions (like the Vidic handball today) - but Chelsea undoubtedly gained 2 points if not 3 yesterday which were blatatnly biased

Hopefully our home form can make this weekend completely irrelevant (with a win a week today Utd would need a single point from two games .......albeit against relegation teams who are likely to be hard to beat)

We did nowhere near enough to win today, to say we did would be unfair on Arsenal IMO, as I thought they played exceptionally well.

Whether Utd did or not - Utd still deserved at least two penalties without even considering that Chelsea didnt deserve to win yesterday and yet still did.....

Yeah I agree with you Chelsea didn't deserve to win, they were just on the right end of some terrible decisions, but what can you do.

Everton fan?

Thought you was lucky yesterday, the team really didn't do much and dire defending cost us again, should have scored 2 or 3

Aye huge Everton fan. Totally agree with your comments.

Yet again our form has disappeared just when I thought we would finish strongly. I had high hopes of us possibly finishing above Liverpool. :(

Suppose I can always dream. :D

Yeah, too many draws at home could cost Wigan, 9 shots on target and only one goal compared to Evertons 3 shots on target and converted pen and saved pen.

Funny old game
