We are lucky to be top... we have Chelsea and Arsenal dropping so many points to thank for that.
We are lucky to be top... we have Chelsea and Arsenal dropping so many points to thank for that. Arsenal have only won 6 points out of a possible 15 in April and the last home game (EPL) they won (except today) was on feb 23 against stoke... and we all know what happened to Chelsea, yet, they have fought their way back into.
I'm pretty sure Carlo admitted that the title was out their reach a few months ago. Now look at where they are.
Actually, if you think about, Liverpool are the only team in the league that have really been on a role (since Kenny came in that is). Considering they were fighting to get out of the bottom part of the table for half the season.
Well Wigan have been consistently poor for a few years now?
Has he?
Strange that United were entirely comfortable up until the baffling decision to sub Anderson for Valencia and move Park into the middle.
Who then straight away lost the ball, then failed to track his man right up until he slotted the goal home.
Yes, the game needed changing up, but Park in the middle?
When has that ever worked?
And what had Park done over Anderson in the match other than do entirely nothing?
Strange decision is strange.
I am completely expecting United to lose to Chelsea, they have a terrible record against the big four. Relying on United to beat Blackpool and Blackburn instead, while keeping the GD higher.
I wouldn't want to go into the final game needing a victory against Blackpool, especially as they could be fighting for survival. We should have had this wrapped up before the end of the season, we're so sloppy
If we play the same Blackburn side City did we should be alright, they were woeful!
I'm going to think outside of the box on this one Bazzy boy, and plump that he meant 'consistent' as the good old dictionary would mean it.Considering Utd are top of the league and haven't been consistent, yes he has. Unless of course he literally means consistent (good, bad or indifferent) rather than consistently successful.
And I refer you too to Oxford's finest.Well yes, if any team had been consistently good home and away they would be above united!
Or similarly they're playing two perfectly safe but unambitious mid-table sides while we're playing two relegation contenders...I can only thank my lucky stars Chelsea has Newcastle and Everton after United - who have a much easier final two PL games against Blackburn and Blackpool, both of whom are one and two places off relegation.
Totally agree - although I dont think Blackburn away will be easy either (as they will be fighting for every point also)
