***SPOILERS*** Football 7 May - 10 May 2011

Their goal difference is only 2 less than United's....and that's with trying to accommodate an incompetent Torres since January!

You have to take into account how inconsistent the whole league has been this season, including United with their away form - but still they pull out the results when it mattered. You were needing 80+ points to win the league, this year its going to be less.

It was really arsenals to win and they fluffed it

Awful result for us, but fair play to Liverpool - they were immense today, although our poor defending/mistakes aided that. Taking nothing from Liverpool though, Suarez tore us apart. Glad to see we didn't just die down even at 5-1 though like we probably would have a couple of seasons ago.

Liverpool to be a force to beat next season with Dalgish i reckon.

It's very easy to play free flowing football when there's no pressure on you, totally different kettle of fish when playing with the pressure of going for a title/top 4 finish

We've been a force with him this season

Think only Chelsea have gained more points in the time he's been with us and I'd be surprised if many teams have scored more or conceded less.

Correct on only Chelsea getting (2) more points and iinm, we've scored more than anybody else and have the 2nd best defensive record since Dalglish tookover.

That is very good point to be honest.

We'll see how Liverpool and king Kenny are doing next season when the pressure is on for them to win something.

They had very little to lose in the premier league and have done well, but got dumped out of the Europa League under Kenny by Braga :p

No, I just mean when Liverpool play, it adds about an additional 5 pages to this thread alone! Not complaining, just annoys me to see so many of you on here :p

He still hasn't worked out that big clubs have lots of supporters.

edit: Just watched the game again; I don't think it got a mention but Fulham should have had 4 men sent off today. Hangeland obviously, Dempsey could have got a straight red for his hack at Spearing in the first half, Salcido got away with a swipe at Suarez when already on a booking and Baird for a 2 footed tackle on Kuyt before giving the ref 2 fingers and telling him to **** off, twice.

Considering that fat **** Mason sent Degen off for a basic slide tackle (that made no contact) and Carra for bring down Zamora while being the last man (despite the fact Zamora actually pulled Carra into him) in the same game last season, I'll never know how Fulham kept 11 men on the pitch today.

Agree with all but Baird as I didnt see the tackle but his reaction was '**** off' to the ref and gave him the two fingers, should have seen red for that.
