Agree with all but Baird as I didnt see the tackle but his reaction was '**** off' to the ref and gave him the two fingers, should have seen red for that.
Since when is swearing at the ref a sending off offence? For as long as I can remember players have sworn at each other and the ref. Swearing at the ref isn't a crime, its part of general and most certainly football language.
"**** off, I'm going to come and kill your whole family you ****" is one thing, "oh
**** off", just isn't.
Caragher does it all game long every game I've ever seen him play, as has Gerrard, RVP, Rooney, Howard, Terry, everyone. Give over.
The reaction of the great football Liverpool played is being slightly overplayed, Hangeland, I don't think I've seen a worse performance by any CB all season. How many chances or goals came because he was 10 yards deeper than the rest of the defence, that doesn't only mean being offside is actively difficult for the attackers, it creates MASSIVE angles to pass in to Hangelands left/right. Even after being so deep, the passes went through and he made little to no effort to get back.
West Ham would have battered Fulham playing like that, the few moments Fulham actually played some football they quite easily put pressure on Liverpool, scored 2, should have scored more, and they only played well for about 15 minutes of the entire game.
Who bothered to work that out? I bet it's wrong
Its wrong purely because of how teams play after they score. Would RVP have got an early goal and we went on to win a game that we actually lost 3-0, so counting that as a 3-1 isn't a fair reflection of how the game would have gone? Likewise, take a Bolton 1-0 then they shut up shop, but because it didn't count they chased the game and lost 3-0.
Yes, Arsenal hit the post a lot, so what, they didn't go in, they don't count, boo hoo Arsenal fans. If Song gets point for every card he should get but doesn't, we'd have an unmatchable points tally(and he'd be very useful), so what.
