I dont watch Newcastle with Rose tinted glasses, at least I try not to, but what are Hansen and the other **** on about? Taylor "lead" with his elbow ? his arm was to the side and he didn't even look in the blokes direction. Wasn't even a foul

From what it looked like, his elbows came up at the top of the jump and he thrust them out to the side. You can't deny there was force behind the elbow, deliberate or not, because it's a standard thing when you use your arms to aide the jump.

The elbows were up though, and they were thrust into Campbells head.

Oh I'm not saying his elbows went up, he was going for power in the header if anything he was careless to have his elbows do far out but the bloke came charging to him as well.

Nothing incident really, good game and the last thing I thought would have been talked about post match.

Frozen like that it looks horrendous, in game I didn't even see the foul. I think it was just unfortunate that he knocked the ball past and everything came together all in one moment and he got caught badly. Hope the lads OK.

Another mistake for Sunderlands first. Debatable handball followed by a blatant foul and neither given.

Ronaldo destroying Seville, all tap ins but 4 goals is still impressive, could have/should have had a 5th. Is it Messi on 31 in the league, Ronaldo now on 33 after that game. If he played in the Valencia thrashing aswell he'd probably have the La Liga golden boot wrapped up by now.

Seville though, just like Valencia, woeful woeful defending, like truly outstandingly bad. I wasn't really keeping track of who got the assists but, other than the Marcelo chip to Pepe, who headed it to Ronaldo there wasn't a whole lot of brilliance in the goals. Awful defence all over the place, play Ronaldo in behind in incredibly obvious pass, Ronaldo runs and taps it in mostly.

Seville had smeg all to play for tonight, can't get into Europe without a miracle, and safe in top half but Valencia before tonight(and still aren't completely) certain of champs league footie so they shouldn't have given in so badly to Real.

Oh, think Ronaldo is on 46 for the season(or 47 now, not sure when they said it), with 3 games left he's got a very good chance to make it past 50 goals.

Yeah, 'invisible elbows' Shearer didn't do it either!

The toon fans couldn't see it when Shearer led with his elbows either!

It was a deliberate elbow and he should have been sent off for it.

spot on, Taylor wasnt even looking at the lad, yeah it might of been dangerous but I dont think there was intent on Taylors behalf. Yellow card maybe, but straight red I dont think so, Ive seen worse tackles with studs leading and everything and the players get away with it.

Anyway, can someone please buy Nile Ranger from us, how can he be a striker when he nevers scores

There are so many discontent able managers around at the moment. This is EXACTLY he time to replace harry. Levy can show how close we are to CL and the strength of the squad. Ancellotti, Hiddinck, Wenger, mourinho; Levy should have a cheeky call to all of them.
