Stalker 2

My opinion of the v/o is ,

In English , rather hit or miss, erring more on the miss.

In Ukranian, superb.

Strangely a lot of natural Ukrainian speakers say the Ukrainian voice acting is terrible. Some even put it to English as it sound better. :)

I don’t speak Ukrainian but the voice acting does sound bad in both. It’s the usual lack of urgency that’s the problem. These people are in a high stress scenario and the dialogue sounds like it’s being read of a script in a sound booth.

On a positive note even with the crashes and terrible AI, this is one of the most atmospheric first person games I've played for many many years ! Only other ones I can think of are..

Skyrim
Cyberpunk
Stalker 2

Agreed, I’d put it in that pile too.

It’s the most any game has pushed my 7800X3D, am seeing 40-60% use and the only game to push it into the 70C+ territory.

To a Ukranian speaker I guess that might be a thing but as a non-Ukranian speaker the atmosphere of the Ukranian voices is a much better fit than the English (or even the English with an accent) :)

100% completely my thoughts too.

I actually think the soundtrack is really, REALLY good too and really helps to immerse you in the world in the same way Skyrim's did. Surprised no one else had mentioned it yet.

Anyone else get really freaked out by anomalies when you get caught in one? I genuinely jump out of my skin every time it happens
