Stalker 2

4k dlss balanced + Frame gen ON. Epic settings. Also using mod to improve LOD and get rid of trees/grass popping in which shaves off about 10-15fps.
Sweet, thank you. I'm on a 5800X3D/3090, and you don't have much latency issue with frame gen on?

Edit - sounds like Nukem's dlssg-to-fsr3 mod is a good solution to any possible input latency issues.

I had latency until I added 2 lines in input.ini then all fixed:

[/script/engine.inputsettings]
bEnableMouseSmoothing=False
bViewAccelerationEnabled=False

Not a good start to the update..

I had only one crash after 16+ hours, but got this after less than a minute :mad:

These UE5 crashes I've seen in almost all UE5 games I've played. Usually only on exit of the game however.

Anyone else finding the game too easy after a while? I have so much food, med kits and bullets saved up that I'm starting to consider selling half of it.

I've upped the difficulty to veteran and just slaughtered a whole swarm of different mutants with relative ease.

Quite surprised at how relatively easy it is considering Stalker game's reputations.

It should do, was night and day for me. Are you sure you updated the right file? Steam version is in a different folder to gamepass version.

I did the input.ini entry but didn't read protect the file. Tried it again, read protect it's still slow- probably due to terribly low fps, I'll leave until get new GPU no point not enjoying a new game on such low fps

Couldn't agree more. I've got so many stashes all over the place with that sort of stuff in.
