Staples's 'Kashmir' Managers Chair

Controversial - but I don't like it :(

It is VERY comfortable - but it's too hot! I dread to think what the chair is like in the Summer!

Needless to say Im gonna have to sell it :(

Hot? Tried turning down the heating?

In fall fairness mine seems fine. It's not hot nor cold it's just nice - I guess if you put it next to a radiator / large source of heat then it would be warm.

Mine seems to have lost shape on the seat area pretty quickly, I'm not even 11 stone and it's just pretty "impressioned" already and almost uncomfortable at times due to this :( wants me a new seat area!!

Just got an email, these are currently 'half price' so £120. Worth it, would have got one for work if desk wasn't so low :(

It's worth noting that even in the lock position that these tilt back a bit still. This annoys me about mine.

Hmm i've found the same also! though its not uncomfortable its just not as comfy when i first sat in it, anyway of sorting this? i wouldnt consider myself that heavy either!

Can someone please check something on the chair if they are on it please? The front of mine always feels too high and uncomfortable on the back of my legs at times, there are 2 spacers that you use when affixing the seat to the base, I am sure the manual pointed to putting them at the front not the back, could anyone confirm either way please? :)

My spacers are at the front and there is a stapled label under the chair that says front. The padding on the seat will vanish after a few months so the problem might go away.

I wouldn't buy this chair again, because it is not upright enough on the back and i have to lean back all the time. I like the kashmir and the armrests. Another problem I am having after about 1 year or so is the gas does not keep me up. All of sudden the seat will start to slide down and i have to lift the seat move and more often, realy starting to get annoying. Staplers did say i can take it back but taking it back without a car is a bit of a hassle and i don't even know if they will accept it. Taxi said he could do it for £10 wait and return so thought that was good deal, just making time to do it.

I added a cushion to lift myself at the back to avoid the problem you describe.

I had mine for over a year and it's a very good chair. Best I've had so far. I tend to put my legs a lot on my desk and this chair is just perfect for that.

I bought one just after xmas, It's a decent chair but nowhere near as good as all the reviews here make out, It is comfy when lounging around in it, When I tilt it back and put my feet up it feels great but it isn't the best chair for upright typing, It causes my lower back to hurt if I do it for too long.

I don't know why I expected anything better for £120 but with all the reviews here I really thought it would be something special
