Staples's 'Kashmir' Managers Chair

I bought one yesterday as well, so far very comfortable. I recommend.

I had my old ikea £59 back leather one for over 4 years and it was starting to give me a painful back and the whole thing was tilting to one side. I should have bought a new one sooner.

Coincidentally the chair matches my headphones sennheiser 555 look exactly like the chair, haha.

Oh, yeah, I didn't notice that! WIN! :D

I have 555s too :)

I've got this chair. It became compressed after about 6 months. It's still bloody comfortable but in hindsight I'd go for a chair with more padding/better padding.

I have the leather faced version of this, after about 8-9 months the padding got that permanent compressed feel. This has happened to every chair I've ever had, regardless of "executive" status or cost. Fixed by by getting a proper memory foam cushion to sit on top.

Apt name :D lose some weight? buy less chairs!

We have 2 Markus chairs, they are fantastic :)

They're really just not though are they? I tried it in the store and thought "this is great, a lovely high back!" but all that means is you can't properly rest your head/neck properly.

Not to mention the ridiculous excuse for "lumbar support", it's just totally in the wrong place for most people - it forces you to sit riiiiiiiight back in the chair! Pants. PANTS I TELL YOU!

:edit: If you can't tell, I bought one and fell out of love with it. I feel cheated :(

Same material as my microfibre chair from Staples. I paid about £105 or something for mine, Still quite comfortable to this day but The Range store near me has an epic. EPIC chair in store for £150 and I am so tempted to get it. I sat it in and it is just mouth wateringly comfortable.

Thsi is it:

And I also saw this:

Which offers epic leg support for those long film or gaming sessions.

Edit*
Holy hell they're £99 now.....buying tomorrow!

For comparison, current chair:

I'm currently using an old office chair my company threw out. It's ripped a lot now and there are various stains on it, so it really need replacing. For £129.99 I don't think you can go wrong, it was that comfy.

I know it's sad, but when I bought my lunch the other day I actually went into Staples again just so I could sit in it. haha.

 :p

Man, I can just see that first choice becoming flat after a few months.

It felt as cushiony (I just invented word!) as my Staples chair and that is still padded quite well 2 years on.

Yeah, I really like that Kashmir chair, and i like the look of the one you linked.

Just wondering which will actually last. :D

Whee did you pickp your crrent chair, looks perfect for me!

Might pop down staples as well as there is one on the way back from work.

All those chairs suffer from completely **** build quality. Always have. The screw covers pop out when you sit on them, the arms etc don't screw in properly, they start creaking and cronking very quickly and eventually they just fall apart.

I'm on my second leather executive, but they're all pretty much the same. Cheapo wood, plastic and covered with cheap fabric/leather.

The only problem that i have noticed with the chair is that it does not handle stains too well :(

Food stains and the like... Not sure how to clean it... I am used to instant wipe of leather, not sure how well this will last. Might take it back.

Anyone know of any good cleaning products for the chair ?
