Staples's 'Kashmir' Managers Chair

I sat in this today, and I agree with an earlier poster that it was too leaned back, and made it hard to lean forwards. It was really comfy if you like to lean back all the time though. I'm going to reconsider the Markus chair, as there wasn't much to tempt me in staples

im about to pick one of these up now from my local staples!

BRB

i just took a 40 mile round trip to my nearest staples to have a look at the Kashmir chair.. guess what was out of stock?? :(
he said they have 3 arriving tomorrow but i dont want to do another 40 mile trip.. nor do i want to order it blind so i might get the only chair they had there that i liked which was the Bellini @ £129..

Has anyone got thoughts about this chair?

ok so i phoned them last night and they had got the 3 Kashmirs in that they were expecting.. got there this morning and only one left  as it was boxed up the sales lad aggreed to fix it together so i could try before i buy.. when he wheeled it out i saw straight away one arm was lower than the other and after a quick look it was plane to see he'd missed a bolt hole, he took it back and fixed it but it had left a scratch mark on the armrest, i told him i wouldnt be happy taking it with the scratch mark on it so he offered it to me for £100
sold :D

So you did 80 miles in the car to get a £20 discount on a chair and are delighted? :p

like i said in a previous post.. i didnt want to drive over there again, but i was bored :D , also there was a homebase right accross the road and i needed a price on some fence panels so it wasnt a waste, fuel was ~£10 for 80 motorway miles and only 15-20 mins eachway :)

So you went 80 miles in 40 minutes? Did you not get stopped by the police for driving 120 mph?

I've ordered one, and after reading this thread I'm a bit concerned about the problem with loose bolts. Are people still suffering with this?

Still comfortable after months of use?

Ohh tempted to replace my leather one at that price but i think there is still a year or so life left in it yet. Been wanting some ceramic knives as well..

had it since christmas and so far no problems with loose bolts and its only flattened very slightly. considering i probably sit in it for far longer than the recommended 5-8 hours a day its doing remarkably well

the only problem i'm getting is that a tiny area (less than 1cm squared) near the screw covers is losing its paint because i keep fiddling with the screw covers when i'm bored
