Good Idea, My username is Melmac on Steam. My profile is the one with the irish flag and the black and white profile picture from counter strike.

I lack originality with my name so it's born2bslow as well. Feel free to look me up on Steam, I might get around to a game with you all at some point if I can. Bloody internet is randomly dropping lately so I've been trying to avoid anything online for fear of ******* people off...just received another new hub/router so will get that installed and see if things improve...BTOpenreach network sucks balls...

The problem I have with Oculus Home is that if you leave it open, there's hardware activity involved, as you can feel your headset get slightly warm compared to having Home closed.

It might be just easier to add people on Steam - it's the one thing that I pretty much have running constantly, and even if I'm shown as offline, I'll still get a message straight away.

Anyway, same username on Steam for me if anyone wants to add me. If I'm online, feel free to ask me if you want a game of something. And if you look at my profile, don't ask me about Clicker Heroes. I don't talk about that shameful part of my existence...
3300 hours! My god man!

Have added yall (You found the right Devrij, Rocksteddy)

I really want to try this but I get anxious at the idea of talking to others online and don't have a VR headset, although could buy one...

Same, I am really nervous about talking to others online. But, the guys here are really friendly and welcoming so don't be worried. Buy the headset and get involved. It's a great experience!!

Is the game really good? I need to check out some reviews and start looking at VR options then ...*gulp*

I play a lot of Star Trek Online, whilst I appreciate it's totally different I love all things Star Trek - I have multiple Fleet Admirals and 99% of the ships in STO with fully maxed out hardware.

The actual game is only ok. It could do with a few more options and away missions, a little more content. Or even a little more freedom in choosing how to complete the current missions. This is my opinion of course.

But, what makes it fantastic is the interaction between the various crewmembers that you are playing with. With the right group of people it's amazing. Maybe it's wrong of me to split this from the game, but, I think it's important to make the distinction. You can play it single player, but, it gets really boring, really fast and I wouldn't advise it if you aren't going to play with other people.

Not sure if you have ever tried out VR, but, I think you would enjoy it. Best Money that I have ever spent for my computer.

Just want to add that I didn't care about the money that I had "wasted" on buying the rift about 30seconds into the dreamdeck demo. I was hooked.
