wish i could get mine done, errors all over the place, why is it, all these companys never plan ahead for the release of something, and everything crashes or falls apart..
Ask someone in the OcUK Channel. Best way to do it is create a new tab just for fleet/ocuk. Right click on the chat bar, create a new one channel. Call it OcUK or whatever and turn off everything bar mission notifications, ocuk and fleet chat.

Now is it just me or did the server go BOOM ... cant log in now just disconnects or times out
oh well tomorrow is another day
Server seems fine to me, no lag and changed character a few times half an hour or so ago.

Have you got a dodgy connection or somethin? Always seem to be getting disconnected when server is fine? Sort it out!

That is crazy. Even though a lot won't subscribe, it is still a lot - think of all the money...the Atari bonus to Cryptic, box sales, lifetime sales (given the number of Borg around they must have sold a lot), then subs in the future. Plus, the more interest there is the more people will check it out. Great news!

Well, downloaded and installed yesterday. I have to say, for a launch day mmo, it all seemed to go very smoothly - no problems patching, registering or actually playing.

just been reading up on the issue on the STO forums .. appears quite a common problem and actually a known issue with the EU proxy software.
problem is I have no choice but to use the setting EU proxy or it wont connect at all but using the EU proxy gives lots and lots of disconnects all the time , usually on loading screens
hopefully be fixed soon as they are working on the proxy software side of things
