Yesterday I was getting varying results from the cryptic downloader, between 200-500, it was mostly 350-400k for me. Managed to get it all yesterday at least.

I assume that becomes your game name? Or do I need to follow the process a bit more to get my handle?

Dont think so. There was a bug where they were, but this has since been fixed.

That is your @handle - essentially your account name. Make a captain e.g. Bob and you will be Bob@g0rd

Edit: If you want, when I get ingame tonight I can make a private OCUK chat channel. If I call it OCUK - all you will need to go is got to chat settings (bottom right of your chat window), go to the channels tab, type OCUK and if I have created it, then it will say JOIN. We can then talk amongst ourselves and you can all ask questions regardless of the zone/instance that you are in

Sounds good.

Also, I know it's probably a pain by now, but any chance you can add the names of the ocuk forum user to the "@handle" bit on the frontpage as it'll eventually get a bit confusing when people start using names that aren't their ocuk name.

played all day yesterday, am liking it!.. waiting for open Beta.

I've been trying to find out whether there will be monthly subsription or it's just buy the game and play... I see threads from last year saying that it will, but I cannot find any official confirmation on that.

The game website does not say there is a subscription.

I got a key from that site and it's activated, but I can't find a download linke, fileplanet is for subs only :\
