Star Trek Online

For people having issues - it just seems like the site is under a lot of load and they are probably busy making changes. I wouldn't bother trying to log-in tonight though - I did warn you...

They seem to have put an awful lot more content into the star fleet side of the game. A group of us really wanted to roll as klingons but I can't help feel we're going to miss out an so much content because of it.

Yes, you can have both. In the beta there were only two character slots, not sure if there will be more for release. Tbh you don't really need more than one for each playable race. There is a lot less content for Klingons, but don't let that put you off. They are different and actually really fun to play.

That is your @handle - essentially your account name. Make a captain e.g. Bob and you will be Bob@g0rd

Edit: If you want, when I get ingame tonight I can make a private OCUK chat channel. If I call it OCUK - all you will need to go is got to chat settings (bottom right of your chat window), go to the channels tab, type OCUK and if I have created it, then it will say JOIN. We can then talk amongst ourselves and you can all ask questions regardless of the zone/instance that you are in :)

Also, I know it's probably a pain by now, but any chance you can add the names of the ocuk forum user to the "@handle" bit on the frontpage as it'll eventually get a bit confusing when people start using names that aren't their ocuk name.

That client is from the end of december, any of you closed beta folks know if the CB client was patchable to OB? If so then this'll do nicely as its only a 2 hours or so DL.

If I am understanding your questions correctly, the CB client will patch to the OB client fine. Mine did - of course the proof will be when we run the game tonight :)

Just stick with it. The servers are going to fail in a big way at 6pm anyway, so I doubt you would miss much!
