Credit where credit's due, Cryptic is certainly patching bugs hard and fast. Not only that but the lag has calmed down a lot since the OB first started. Whether this is due to less players playing or server optimizations I dunno, but nonetheless...

Now, just less instancing please! :p
 
To auto attack u right click the ability and activate it once, for ships you can have 2 abilities, i have my torps set for auto attack, for ground combat you can only have 1.

Just remember that you need to 'activate' it every time you switch target (ctrl spacebar does torps, spacebar beam weapons)
 
Game has turned very very easy. I flew over to DS9 for a look around and got snagged into a conflict by an enemy conflict by some Jem'Hadar. Thought I'd just had a blast anyway and ended up soloing a Jem'Hadar war ship that was +19. It did give me a good hammering but still, that's just crazy.

Yep, looks like they are testing it out at an even easier level now. Hopefully player feedback will be consistent and they will make it harder!
 
i have noticed though that the crew dwindles down quite fast even if ur shields dont drop, have no idea how that could happen, so still some bugs flying about like the sierra patrol in alpha centauri cant complete it.
 
Well, after playing the beta just about every night, some aspects of the game I liked.
BUT!
Its not worth a monthly sub in its current form, I will come back to the game in a few months and see how the community/game play is getting on.
I do think it maybe has potential, but at the moment its just not what I want.
And yes the constant loading is anoying, it does seem like I am back playing on an Amiga or something.
 
Figured out how to sit in my captain's seat. Pointless as it is at the moment. :p

You can only walk on your bridge. See the upside down triangle, bottom right of the mini map? Click it and the option to go to your bridge is there. Really enjoying this patch, cant wait for the launch changes!

Wait, is that FRAPS you have on there? How are you getting such a high frame rate? It is capped at 60 :confused:. Or am I missing something?
