Star Trek: Picard

It was all a much of muchness for me. Didn’t really go anywhere and certainly felt like one of those WW2 holodeck episodes where nothing really matters.

Really felt like a mirror universe episode, the "in a mirror darkly" phrase is even used. Seemed to somehow suck up almost an hour without really doing much.

Only thing that had my interest was
Q seemingly implying he was unwell with the "sutcher barely hanging on" line.

Weeeellll, you dont need to pirate Picard to watch it on the US release schedule, i mean, you could just use a VPN and sub to Paramount+ afaik, but that's an awful lot of trouble to go to to watch Picard heh. Not me personally though, I've watched every episode of discovery and picard on UK services with the exception of Disco season 4 because i can't be arsed to resub to netflix just to watch that crap.

I can't imagine not being able to wait a day for Picard, it's not like it's the best TV ever produced....it's only just about not the worst Star Trek ever made.

Picard episodes release on fridays in the UK. There you go, dont open a thread on Thursdays. Easy peasy :)

random articles online that Google likes to throw up

This 100%.

Either do a worldwide release or expect people to get on the jolly roger.

It wouldnt be a problem if stupid sites and youtube reviews dont have titles like *(MAJOR CHARACTERS NAME) KILLED OMFG* so even if you try to avoid them just scrolling past a new article or auto suggestions ruins it for you.

It's no longer on Netflix. Paramount took it back. Until their own streaming service launches in UK and Europe, its on the Pluto TV streaming service, which is owned by Paramount.

Exactly, it's hard to avoid spoilers these days due to things like that. Google seems to think the world revolves around the yanks so stuff everyone else when it comes to blabbing about something in an episode that many haven't yet seen.
