^stock 970/[email protected], apart from disabled motion blur, everything else is max, performance is fantastic@1080p.

If your an old school original SW nut and you want to fight/pilot some of the SW's toys, you'll love it, it's designed for pick up and blast away with some simple but enjoyable dogfighting in the SW's universe...

Looking for BF then it's not for you, it's simply a generic shooter.

Check the screenshot through if you want to see some pics i just posted about 30 maxed out on an ultrawide screen.
As for people complaining about the price i paid £26 so im not sure how you can complain at that especially when its what £50 on the ps4 and xbox?

Where for £26?

What ever you do, don't sell this stuff!!

Agreed, a mate has a truly huge collection of boxed Star Wars toys, some unused and a few duplicates including two unopened AT-AT's and two unopened Milennium Falcons from the first film back in the day,he recently had his home contents valued and the assessor advised he took out specialist insurance on the Star Wars collection due to the rarity and high value, he estimated tens of thousands at least!

It's his retirement fall back I think!

lol....

Plenty of videos/posts on how people are going on easy insane kill streaks all because of them picking up the hero token, xfactor being one of them went on a 62 kill streak on hoth walker assault, just one of the many things that should have been changed i.e. they should have left out the heroes for all game modes except the one dedicated to them....

Yup console users also need to stop "zOMG, must pre-order ASAP" mentality too but there is even less chance of that happening.... :p

The only reason to pre-order is if you badly want the physical items that come with the games.
Pre-ordering is fine.

You can get discounts for doing it as well often enough.

Just realize the risk you take by doing it.

What country vpn will allow me to play before 11pm and will it affect anything else?

Korea, flyvpn (free) disconnect before you look for a game!

This game is frustrating, im hoping its full of the super nerds! And calms down on official release.
Cant seem to hit a barn door / hit someone 3-4 times they dont die.. i get hit twice before i can even turn and im dead :(
Way too many grenades, they need to increase the time between them and limit it to one type.

Loved the beta, but not enjoying this so far. Its early days and i'll keep plugging away.

yeah i use a korea VPN to play it untill the uk release. Its pretty easy you just make sure its activated when you sign into origin. Turn origin to offline mode then turn the VPN off and you can play all night.

Hong Kong was the destination for me. Boot up the vpn > start origin > start the game get connected then closed the vpn.

People genralise and assume that everyone pre-orders on blind faith alone, which is not true. You can get a good idea of what your getting if you do a little research. Obviously you can't do that with every game but the more prudent amongst us know from past experience and good judgement what to expect.

I initially thought SW:B was going to be a disapointment but the beta kept me coming back for more. It was a calculated risk pre-ordering but I knew that if the full release was more of the same I'd be okay with that.

Now that steam and origin do refunds, it is less of a risk. I still think its best to way and see though what its going to be like if you are unsure. i have looked in to it and i know what i am getting with this game, as long as a) it not unstable and b) it connects to mp games then ill be fine with it.

Just purchased for £26 aswell. I know Im playing a shallow shooter in a star wars world, and I understand that. Im not expecting a really good game, just something that will get me pumped for the new movie and when im in a turn my brain off and mess about mood.

Yup, steam refund's policy is a god send for PC gamers as not only does it give us a chance to test the game and get an idea on gameplay but if you get a refund for a broken game, the publisher of the game will lose money hence why Warner Bros took batman AK of steam.

How do you know that a game will run without issues on day 1 though? i.e. batman AK, battlefield 3/4, assasins creed unity and in the case of these games, it took months until the serious issues were fixed.

As has been shown, often the beta and even the alpha can be much better the final version....

I had Batman on pre-order and then cancelled it before release, cost nothing. Ass Creed is a no brainer, the track record speaks volumes and I'm not a fan of the series.

Battlefield 3/4 were both pre-orders and I've easily had my monies worth and more. I don't actually recall and serious problems playing them although like with any big release it works on some PC's but not others. I didn't pre-order Hardline because the beta was dull and boring, it felt like a MOD with no polish.

If I like a game, I buy it I don't look to others for justification. It's only gaming afterall !!

Oh definitely. Calculated risk is a much better way of putting it for many more informed consumers who still dont mind pre-ordering games. I know I do it once in a while, but only with devs I trust or with games like you say, have betas and give you a good idea of what you're getting into.
