The graphics, sounds and performance are absolutely astounding. I cant believe how bloody good it looks at the performance levels im getting. I can get nearly 60fps at 4k with most settings on ultra on 290s in CF.
The sounds are immediately immersive too, its just like you want it.
Game design and play wise, its pretty weak. Why is there no campaign? I think dropping squads and classes (like BF3/BF4) was a mistake as its near impossible to coordinate with other players making it feel very single player.
It just lacks any depth and hold for me. Which is a real shame because its so astoundingly gorgeous. Any story mode style gameplay would be incredibly immersive and i still can't get over how good performance is at those visual levels at release.
All that said, I may try and get my money back for now if possible.

surely its pretty obvious why dice didn't include campaign... game was rushed out and hell why spend extra resources when they don't have to because they know the game will still sell millions of copies anyway, cant understand why people complain about these things they knew all this way before the game came out and then buy it anyway and still complain? am I missing something?
Not really Dice can't make single player games for **** - I don't really count Mirrors Edge.
They are good at making pretty games but they really need someone else to actually make the gameplay portion.
The lack of a server browser is really getting to me. Keep getting a notification i may have bad server connections... well let me pick a server then! On BF4 I can pick servers with sub 15ms pings, i've got an excellent connection!!

Loving this game....great performance and the game looks stunning. 
Certainly agree with the comments above that it needed a single player campaign.
Hopefully they will deal with this in an upcoming update.

Regarding the 'card' that scans for enemies and gives you their locations, remember this isn't modern day warfare 
Battlefield 2142, my second favourite of the series, had a perk which you could throw that gave you the locations of all enemies and that didn't ruin the gameplay.
I think the main 'distress' people are having is assuming this is a 'Battlefield' game and therefore it's obviously going to be a disapointment in that respect.
Yes, it could have been so much more but the majority of people playing it seem to be okay with it so far. Whether the game can sustain the current numbers playing is hard to say, but I do think the licence and playability will carry it along.

Getting way too many times when obviously a super high ping player joins and it all goes to **** - stupid **** developers thinking you can hide that by not showing latency
