**** Star Wars: Battlefront ****

lol this profile is awesome fun... so many different star wars themes.. this is more fun then the game.. (which i havent played yet) lol!

Thing is there is no consistency to it - I gave up in disgust after it got ludicrously bad - just jumped in for another quick blast and went 14-4, 2nd place on winning team and almost every shot was hitting as expected, then next map against the same players it was horrendous and ended something like 7-18 - pretty sure its not my internet connection as its pretty solid and having played online since the early days of dialup I know what a bad connection is like heh.

I really need to stop persisting when its bad and just quit out :(
 
I will give BF4 it's a lot better than it was. I hope this gets better too cause it is quite fun, but like you say, at the moment (for me at least anyway)it's like a game of chance.
 
Loving this game and hating it in equal measure. Needs netcode looking at. Needs a squad system ie gold leader, red leader etc like the films, needs squad spawn. My god does it need some new maps!!!

Game could seriously use Conquest and vehicles spawning rather than being powerups and they gotta remove autoaim from the ships. Also change the flying controls to be more like flying spaceships rather than biplanes with constant autocorrection.
 
Yeah the game is kind of like a slightly-dim but incredibly hot girlfriend, I mean you know she's not the brightest and there's never going to be much of an intellectual attachment but, I mean, like DAMN she is hot! Plus she's big into Star Wars.

I'll definitely keep her around for a few months anyway. ;)
 
How do you take screenshots and report cheaters?

Guy on deathmatch called Viperfor, with a 39-2 score, 1 shot killing everyone, and when he killed me, it didn't show what gun he was using.

You cant even fly unless you get the powerup, and that chance is 1/40.
Not to mention theres little freedom of movement in these ships compared to jets/helis in Battlefield. And autoaim. So flying "skill" of previous Battlefield games dont matter at all here.

Next round, against the same players, back to getting killed by people as soon as they appear, emptying my gun into people to apparently no effect - quit at something like 3-11...

(This is NOT related to my PC or internet connection).

So symthic have put the weapon stats up which is useful considering DICE's in game stats for weapons tend to be complete fantasy..
