**** Star Wars: Battlefront ****

I hope they actually make enjoyable and well thought out game modes this time and not the simplistic, barely-working ****e that BF4/Hardline have. With a solid game mode at it's core it could be amazing fun. If it's conquest... well they can **** off with it.
 
Theres no way the Endor forest in the trailer will be that dense in the game OR speeder bikes wont be playable. You cant have both, you just wont be able to ride the bike at speed through the trees like the movie.
 
Not really interested in a multi player only tittle.

Ea's brand of multiplayer doesn't appeal to me. I'm oldschool play for fun, not stats, unlocks, and the anything but fun nature all that brings.

The irony is for the most part, you see people craving for star wars single player titles. Understandable Disney went with EA to extract the most money, so it was always destined to multiplayer, unlocks, dlc, premium ect...

Neither surprised nor disappointed.
 
After the pile of ***** that was BF Hardline things can only get better !!!!

I'll probably pre-order next time I visit Mexico :p
 
Well from what I've heard so far I'm utterly underwhelmed. No single-player except for a few mini-missions? Instead it sounds just exactly like Battlefield too me which is what I feared.

The reason I loved Battlefront was because I could have customised battles against the computer through Skirmishes and the Conquest mode. It was relaxing fun, I didn't have to go up against elitist players on maps, I could just chill-out and pause whenever. It sounds like they've simply just catered to the FPS multiplayer crowd and not even bothered.

I hope I'm wrong and they will introduce a conquest mode but it really, really sounds like they're not bothering.

edit: apparently no space battles is being talked about on other forums.

what a turd of a reveal. No meat to it at all, CG rubbish no gameplay what so ever. I hate these kind of reveals, gave me absolutely nothing.

Apparently, there is 5 minutes of gameplay being shown at the show at the EA booth.

Hmmmmmm, leaked to youtube shortly maybe????
 
really disappointed in the reveal. 40 players is a bit meh. Battlefield games have always been 64 players, even BF4 on new gen consoles is 64 player

They can write in game engine and in game models etc etc

but that ain't in game play ! It will look a different game I reckon.
 
Right... It's 6:30 GMT now (more or less). So why has this already been revealed? Looks like I didn't miss much though. ;)
