A good number of casual players are lumping it in with cheating/suspicious those players are really cheating - take a browse through the official forums its a frequent theme. I'm not saying its the #1 reason the player base is dropping but its having a fair impact on top of the other issues.

I'm up for giving this another go again tonight, I think the fps drops should be sorted now (downgraded driver), but Virgin will still cause me some pain. It was so bad last night even chippy got me!

New updates are good and the Jakku map with Turning Point game mode is great...

Dwindling numbers means less idiots which could lead to more team work, playing more strategically and possibly more fairly...
Sounds a good thing!

How do you get reliable stats for battlefront?

It has no web interface.

The reason the numbers are probably going down is just because there isn't that much to do and nothing to aim for. Once you get to rank 25 and get the Last weapon The rest of the ranks after that are kind of pointless as there's nothing of value until you get the different races at like rank 40.
I'm enjoying the new map but there needs to be so much more content than what were given at the moment.

Il agree with you there. More upgrades would be nice im getting all these points and no "omg I want that" type goodies left to buy with them all. More maps to spice it up is also needed. I think it's what we will get though. I hope so I do really like the game its just not quite what it could have been yet but still has potential to become great as long as its supported cough cough.

That aside it's star wars so I like it.

Forgot to add I think the film is going to bulster sales of this game. Hope EA doesn't get lazy and float on that.

Still playing but getting pretty sick of the DL-44 or whatever it's called. Just insta-kills against every other gun. I know this is not exactly a tactical shooter but come on...

I saw you edited your post but even after the edit I still think you're on crack if you even think that it could lead to more teamwork when the game; lack of browser interface and dedicated servers proves it isn't catered for teamplay at all.

Well I am keeping the game, despite it having so many flaws, it's fun for a quick blast every night or 2 and still has lots of potential...

Bought the wall hack tonight and lol.... it just needs to go, that combined with scout card is op.

Having bought a few guns now, tbh, I am finding the starter guns to be pretty good all rounders, I generally do better with them than the other ones, haven't got the OP pistol yet though.

EDIT:

TBH, I couldn't really care less about team work or even losing/winning in this game, with all the gimmicks in it, I just can't take it seriously like bf 4 or even hardline

I'm with you, so far so good, i'm enjoying playing it, 16 hours in and not tried every game mode yet having fun playing Supremecy, Drop Zone and the new Turning Point, but for just jumping in and having casual fun it's great, (i'm a CSGO fan also).

Is there any benefit to having/playing with friends? I'm reasonably new to the Origin thing and don't have any.

The DL-44 is overpowered at close to medium range. But so weak at ranged. It could do with some tweaking I agree.

As on the smaller maps, there is no other choice of weapon. If you want to be overpowered of course. Unless you want to use the Spud gun (CA-87) as I like to call it.
