**** Star Wars: Battlefront ****

Wow - the heroes are in no way OP are they? Rage quit that game after Bobba Fett went on a massive kill streak, pointless. Maybe if I grind up to L13 to get the jet pack it will be easier.

hmmm - bought a cheap Mexican copy, only got to level 4, but it's already driving me mad. Every game seems to have 1 or 2 people that stomp everyone else. In my last match, one guy went 34 - 4 - the mode where you have to take over control points to push the enemy back. We managed to get one, but it was spawn - bowcaster - spawn fixed gun - spawn grenade.

Maybe it is just not noob friendly, as my guns seem to be peashooters, I pump rounds into some people and then they casually turn round and 1 shot me.

Does this get any better, or should I save my blood pressure?

I was exactly the same until I reached level 10 and unlocked some decent weapons. Now I'm averaging a 2:1 ratio. Stick with it.

Yeah I had my best game every last night and got 19 kills. Came 3rd. Although there were two on the other side with 85 and 65. Tsk Tsk.

nah when ea pay me maybe I play but likely just send it to the trash
common issue with the hitmarker with dice engine and hz

Well lost pretty much all the games I have played today - seemed to always be put on the team that were getting stomped on - I presume because people leave the crap teams - so as you can't switch and as there is absolutely no balancing I am getting bored quickly. The last supremacy was a complete joke - the other team were all in double digit kills, some on 40 - 50, not a single player on our side was in double digits.

The kicker being that you get a small score and it takes even longer to get the jetpack and better weapons...

quickly becoming my most hated game ever, and that is a pretty difficult list to top

That is the one thing I'm having issues with. The balancing in this game is a complete joke right now.

Pretty much the same for all the Dice games as of the last few years, stacked teams round after round, gets boring fast.

I skipped the last two Battlefield games, so I've missed all that. I was thinking of picking up Battlefield 4 in the Origin sales. I some how don't feel like buying it anymore. :(

After having a little bit of fun on christmas day playing with a bunch of newbies like myself I thought I could waste a few hours enjoying myself in this game.

but since last night I have got hammered every single game, I cant win a gun fight to save my life(literally). After my first 3 hours playing I had a k/D of about 1.7 and I dread to think what it is now.

I seem to keep dying in 1-2 hits from bog standard weapons, very similar to what happens in battlefield if you have a high latency connection. But I dont know how to see my ping in game. If BF4 wasn't bad enough with its network smoothing rather than fix anything they have just removed the option to be abler to see you on a bad connection.

Seems unless you are a hero or in a vehicle you are just cannon fodder. The endor map at night is so hard to see people, The map with the lava (cant remember what its called) there's just not enough cover when you need to switched sides to get caps.

What a terribly though out game and at the £17 I paid for it, it still feels like a waste of money.

Got to play as Han Solo and wrecked people - play as normal and most teams are stacked and stomp all over the other side that has formed from new players after all the severely beaten ones left.

Shame you can't share battle reports - they make for grim reading...

Pretty much par for the course.

Back in BFBC2 players would purposely wait to switch to the winning side. That in itself epitomises what's wrong with the nature of gaming today, sheer ignorance, laziness, and the unwillingness to take on a challenge.

Back in the days of Quakeworld if you got your ass handed to you by a better player you didn't rage-quit, cheat, or swap teams, you showed them a modicum of respect by telling them 'well played' and you set about improving your own skills and tactics for the next encounter.

That was the challenge and that's what kept players engaged with game. Now it's all geared to the lowest common denominator so casuals can play the game with least amount of time and effort necessary so they feel they've got their monies worth, which robs the game of any depth, skill, and longevity. The sad state of gaming today.

Totally agree, rewards are not high enough for playing the objective, you score higher going for pure k/d rate so people just wait in hiding to become hero's/ get vehicles to get maximum points to get all the unlocks.

Best sum up of all recent DICE games :(
