Really looking forward to this. I just wish they'd do a sequel to jedi academy. Probably the best star wars game ever and the mods were fantastic! Lugormod back in the day was awesome and moviebattles is just brilliant. Still play that one.

I am really looking forward to this, but there is a Mod (Can't remember what is was called) in development which is basically a new Battlefront using CryEngine. I can't imagine it will be going for much longer though, as EA will surely try to shut it down.

I've always wondered why EA can get away with making bad to above average games year after year and never get into financial difficulties and now I know why. Hell EA are so bad they even managed to screw up Scrabble!

Battlefield 3 is good, and Battlefront 3 is likely to be good. I've got money to spend, that's my opinion. I (touchwood) haven't ever had a problem with EA, or their games, so until I do, my opinions neutral at the moment.
As someone who has only played Battlefield bad company 2, I'm sensing a lot of fun to be had...
BC2 was far more fun to play than Battlefield 3 turned out to be

Jedi Knight 2 Outcast was so much better than the newer stuff, we need a new one of those.
Fond memories of the first two, my excitement for this is off the charts!

That's an old video, that isn't Frostbite 3, it's Free Radical Designs unfinished version before DICE took hold of it.

I want to be immersed in the game with HUGE AT-AT walkers next to me as i'm running along. I do hope that the animation / motion is well done and smooth. The free radical one is good, but character movement even in the older ones were a bit static.

I don't believe this personally, from looking at how DICE are with Battlefield, I believe they will do a good job on it. I'm holding high-hopes.
