**** Star Wars: Battlefront ****

Well first impressions were not good, but the more I play the more I like it.

I'm not sure if it's the inner nerd that does it or the simplicity of the gameplay but I'm finding it quite a fun game.
 
I hate to think how bad the fighter superiority mode is going to be after seeing how badly the flight mechanics have been implemented. The aerial combat is nothing short of insulting for the PC. I can understand having it like that on consoles but what are they thinking of. This is such a dumbing down of a game that it's completely missed the mark.
 
The more I play the more I like it, 3 hour straight session today on the one map, never done that before so it must be doing something right

People are clicking onto how to bring down the ATATs now too so even won a couple of games as Rebels. Still too many muppets only interested in KD though

I think this game is amazing. Of course your gonna be bored. There's only 1 40 player multiplayer map and 1 not so great 8 vs 8 drop zone.

Wait for the full game comes out before judging. I for one will be buying it because it's something a bit different to the mix to the same war games like BF4 which I also really like.

I seem to like the game I think it will be much better with more game modes and weapons, Some polishing on it will make it great tbh, For the people comparing it to hardline this game is better imo.
 
If I could play all the online modes offline I would buy but I'm not sure all modes will be playable vs bots. The missing story/campaign mode is a huge ommission too so Im still undecided. Online play doesn't 't really appeal to me anymore, especially in in a Dice game with its usual hitreg/rubberbanding rubbish.

If you like the game then get it on console because this will not do so well on PC. Bookmark this, because a few months after release you all will be complaining even more when the flakey match making has no choice but to pair you with juan from Brazil and Game Time hackers ruining gameplay for everyone.

Dice had plenty of opportunity to sort out the issues raised during the Alpha and they didn't so they will not do anything before release. If the issues are addressed and player count is still high on PC then I have no problem in purchasing the game when that happens.

stars wars crap will ware off fast when ur getting steamrolled by Chinese ****tard hackers!¬

+ the skill requirement in this game is about the same as hungry hippos from argos!

if this game had a solid SP story driven mode then it woulda sold the bucket loads... but asking EA to do anything half decent is a lot to ask for.
 
Yeah it is going to be awful in this game for cheating.... the star wars theme + COD gameplay + low skill ceiling + more kids will probably play it = lots of cheaters
 
Ive never understood scoreboard chasing nor cheating, I wish players would just work as a team and complete objectives in this type of game, not just shoot everything that moves and not care if their team wins the match.

Indeed.

If they stopped tracking Kill/death ratios as a statistic and gave you more points for playing the objective, these games would all be better.
