They have done marvels with the Marvel Franchises, so hopeful for StarWars.....
True, but look what they did to John Carter though.
Great movie backed up by poor marketing. I don't think Star Wars will suffer from poor marketing

I think people forget that the original trilogy was also for kids... its just we were kids at the time.
We are not going to get a dark Nolan reboot of Star Wars no matter how awesome that would be for us now as adults.

Can't be any worse than the remakes of the original 3, or Episode 1-3.
I'm a HUGE star wars fan, however, I can just see this being too kiddy, not dark enough, and almost too fantasy-like, rather than the almost believable rebels without a cause grittiness they had in the original films.

I like what Disney did with Tron Legacy and the Tron Uprising animated series. They can't do any worse than Lucas by any stretch and I think that the studio is big enough to be able to take some calculated risks in production. We can only hope though.
