** Star Wars Episode VII - SPOILERS WITHIN **

Very well edited, that scene at the end, Ray holding sabre hassō-no-kamae, runs towards enemy with a furious downward slash, cut to Luke doing exactly the same, furious slash to the side, cut to Luke doing the same, chūdan-no-kamae, Luke doing the same, last moment change in direction of downward cut to lead it outside of the main body zone (towards a limb), Ray doing the same. Beauty. If anyone ever doubted...

Just got back from a mates house and I'd heard the rumours but didn't see it until today.
Since the 70s he's been collecting Star Wars memorabilia and he has 12 of those cases, there's also other stuff but 90% is Star Wars.
Most of it is still sealed and then he announces he's just wrote a book which is being released in America soon.
It is written from a child's perspective (when he was a child) and what I read was quite funny.

Admiral Akbar voice actor died at age 93.
He was in Jedi, and he was credited as voice of Akbar in episode 7.
Someone please remind me at what point of the film do we see Admiral Akbar?
I can't for the life of me recall him speaking at all.
I assume alliance council meeting?

I don't remember him saying anything but I'm not sure why it matters if it's just a tribute to the guy?

Theres a character thats of the same race in the movie that presumably he did the voice for. Or his voice part was cut but he's still credited.

Wow!! Has he ever had that lot valued? Must be worth a small fortune i'd imagine.

That collection is quite something!!!

I tear up when I think of th SW toys/stuff I dumped when we moved house years ago... I was ruthless and got rid of the lot, inc stuff my sister send me from the USA which could well be pretty rare now.

Ah, I'm welling up again :o

I had one of the Luke Skywalkers that was accidentally put in a Han Solo packaging when I was little. I was gutted when my parents gave it me at the time as I wanted Han Solo but if I had kept that god knows how much that would have gone for now.

I never asked him but he must have an idea because stuff is coming all the time.
Like I said, that is one of 12 cabinets.

HOLY ****

This is something that I wished I had always done.

I love the Star Wars movie, but Jaws has always been the movie I go back to. I saw a bit of memorabilia on your mate's cabinet.

My dad was an UBER massive Jaws fan and he managed to get hold of a 2 by 4 piece of the Orca hull after it was eventually pulled apart (still with my mum). He was also a regular to Martha's Vineyard and went to a couple of Jawsfest meetups where some of the minor cast and production crew used to turn up.

Back onto his Star Wars memorabilia.......WOW!

Caught a bit of ROTJ last night on Disney XD during a channel flicking session.

Since when did they add in dialogue for Darth Vader when he picks up the Emperor when he is Force Lighthning Luke?

At two separate points Vader shouts No....

WTF? Didn't recall that previously. Maybe should burst out my Blu Ray to see if it is the same

And there's a lot more Jaws stuff than that bit.
Like I said there is 12 cabinets but also includes memorabilia from others such as Starsky & Hutch, ET, Jaws, Close Encounters etc but the vast majority is Star Wars.
It's also important to know he has had two failed marriages because the women couldn't put up with his obsession.

It's just another GL addition, apparently Vader looking back and forth isn't a clear enough display of his internal struggle so he added stupid dialogue on a par with the prequels to show the emotion.

Apologies the grief of watching this piece of **** is still fresh

first can i say a **** you to JJ Abrams. You are dead to me.

1. Have Solo's ****in emo whimpering son kill him are you ****in kidding me?
2. An iconic character is dead and not one mother****er mourns him...where is his funeral where? **** you Abrams.

3. Rey is apparently a trained jedi just by thinking it...mind tricks and lightsaber combat skillz FTW. **** you again Abrams.

4. Worst cameo in a film of all time award Mark Hamill apparently playing Luke Skywalker. Where is the grand entrance? The "just in the nick of time" appearance. The thing that makes you go " wooooo hoooo the jedi master is back. Nothing like that in this **** stain of a film. Kylo Ren (a trained jedi) when he has both Fin and Rey beaten and reached out his hand for LUKE's lightsaber then WHAMMMOOO suddenly the lightsaber rushes past his hand to the last jedi in the universe skywalker..thats what should have happened... hahaha not a ****ing chance in hell...... it goes to a teen girl who doesn't know what the force is but its ok she can just think really hard and suddenly shes an expert at one with the force and all that jazz. **** you again Abrams for ****ing all over this.

5. There is no nuance or subtlety to this film. The bit where Threepio mentions that R2D2 (iconic star wars character) has been silent in low power mode for a long ass time ever since Luke left. THAT was a massive ****ing clue for the scriptwriters to do something with that piece of information....something like when Rey and Fin are getting their asses handed to them (because hey they aint trained jedi right?????) You could switch to a scene which shows R2D2 suddenly blue lights on and chirping up....ohhhh whats happening! And then you switch back to the scene where EMO Ren is reaching for LUKE's lightsabre *CLUE!!** and the lightsabre is force pulled to the hand of Luke skywalker. Now that would have been an entrance not some piece of **** cameo with him just pushing his hood back lol. 5 seconds thats how long the greatest jedi in the universe was in this film. Words are not enough to express my disgust of this film.

I had a little hope because the star trek reboot was ok but this travesty should be made ILLEGAL to watch. **** poor script that copies everything from a New Hope but does it allllllll worse.

And holy **** did anyone else feel like at the very start...WTF did i just miss the main part of the story here guys. Republic in the **** and the good guys are the resistance again and we got another sith lord and apprentice...wtf just WTF :eek::( Abrams **** you again....

p.s. Solo :(
