Nah, already tried that trick

Double click it, it gives an hourglass for 2 seconds, then nothing. A check in Task Manager shows DW20.EXE jump to 48% CPU load (1 core at max) then quit. No idea. I have the standard BOINC client on there for a massive 117PPD!!!! Its an X2 6000+ I used to fold on. Im only allowing it 1 core though, as I have SQL servers etc on the same PC.

Not sure how good the ppd tracking is on this app but its showing about 55k across my seti rigs.

At lease no more collatz needed to keep the GPU's warm

Now all i need to do is to get this running on my linux box that has a 460 in it,wine anyone

Hello

I have been trying to get the smp client to work with this but keeps on saying loading.
Gpu one works fine.

Quick question for you veterans and might sound a little stupid as I'm a big noob but is it possible to run two separate gpu's in one machine?
I have an i7 950 running at 3.6ghz so would be great if i can get smp client working and i also have a 6950 crunching at the moment.
I also have a hd5550 lying about , i know it wont increase my ppd if i chuck it in my rig but every little helps right?
If i cant run it in my main rig with my 6950 I'm going to chuck it in my old computer which I'm going to dedicate to folding also. its a dual core at 3.ghz, i just need couple 120mm fans and a mouse and it will be up and running!

Smp client now gives me project number and points its worth but has said 0% for the last 25 mins, also hasn't given me a ppd estimate yet.Is this normal to wait this long for smp?

Depends. What's your CPU and what project is it? Some of the bigadv smp WUs can take over 45 minutes even on an overclocked i7 860.

I have advmethods enabled, it now works but my first smp work unit has been running since last night and is only 50% is that right.My CPU is a i7 950 at 3.6ghz and the ppd is only 3.5k is that right?Same with my 6950 which has shader unlocked, it is only doing 4k per day.Is there anyway i can up my ppd?

No thats not right.

Try without the gpu first and stabilise the performance of the CPU.

Make sure you have SMP enabled you should be getting around 15-20K for a SMP WU depending on the type you get.

I don't do many plain SMP wu's but I know I get around 7-8K on my Q9650

When ever I use this, it always shows my SMP Points as "Unknown" and PPD "0.0" :confused:

It shows Points and PPD for the GPU though. Anyone know why that might be happening?

Also, if i stop the GPU Client, it resets to 0%, unlike the SMP which resumes from the point you stop it at.... is that right !?
Is it possible to limit how much of the GPU this program uses?

I also get the "Unknown" issue with my GPU client on my media PC. Using F@H Control v7 though. Not sure why its doing it.

Hi Biffa,

Great software.

I have it folding on my 2 Nvidia GPU's (670 and 570) however 'SMP' says its running but project and points remain unknown.

I set it to use 2 CPU's as I need the rest for what im doing, anyway to get this working ?

My name is on there and im running team 10
