Steam IS coming to OS X

Well that guys a massive helmet! Cheaky git for complaining about something thats FREE!

On the plus portal works for me again and iv just shown my mate who said it sounds rubbish but looks loads of fun...

Got it to work, but either it just looks really dated now or the Mac port is watered down a bit, looks a bit horrible :(

Waiting for Left4Dead before I get excited
 
ocuk_hendrix is my steam username from many a years ago. Looking forward to some more games being added, finding the time to play them however is another story all together!!!
 
If you get annoyed with the size of steam icons.. easy :D

Make a directory called 'Steam' in your home directory somewhere, put your steam game desktop short cuts (include an alias for the main steam app if you want) and then drag the directory to the task bar. When you want to play just use the iconbar fan to select the game to start :D The icon is smaller on the icon bar thankfully..
 
does anyone now what games are been released on each wednesday, just wondering what goodness we get this week :D
 
God I really want to get back into some CS:S and DOD:S, spent a worrying amount of time on those games years and years ago.

Shame I never got any good :p

loved DOD:S only thing that ticked me of about it though was been tked for the sniper rifle :mad: made my blood boil

Can't say I ever had that but I only played on one or 2 servers back then and we all got on really well. Even sometimes allowed mic talk between sides, was always interesting, they wouldn't tell you if it was on or off

TF2 was in the beta, so I'm betting that.

I can't see CS:S or DOD:S coming for a while :(
 
so all that waiting and all we get is killing floors :( what a waste its one of the worst games i have played :mad:
 
As much fun as CS:S is, I do think I preferred DOD:S because your not waiting around if you die straight away.

Although much hilarity can be had on both, still got some print screens from years ago of funny moments!
 
Think Valve are gonna make us wait for the "Big" games until with bought enough shovelware!


Killing Floor, come on Valve this is not what people are waiting for.
