Xbox One controller wired but hoping to then get it working wireless.

Last I read the one wireless controller doesn't work. Might have changed since then though. The older 360 wireless controller works.

Will have a read up on it. Would be nice to even just have a wired one working in non-steam games for now.

Some games struggle to "catch" the steam overlay and without the overlay the controller wont work via the link.

Best fix is the rename the actual game .exe to something that grabs the overlay.

In my case I rename my non-steam game .exe to RE7.exe and presto, controller works fine..

Native apps have been around for a while. Kodi already exists (https://steamcommunity.com/app/353380/discussions/1/451850849186712370/) although I've not run it personally.

Saying that it's not the richest selection of apps I've ever seen at the moment

I meant as in apps whereby you will not need the link itself. Samsung have a beta already out for this in the US. Should bring 4k with it too.

Been running Moonlight on my FireTV for a while... Its not Steam streaming, but is Nvidia streaming. Works very very well!

I've just got mine.

Not impressed on first reaction, but been paying serious Sam 3 but on the Xbox 1 controller and I actually enjoyed it. I can't get to grips with the steam controller unfortunately.

I've noticed input lag which is noticeable over keyboard and mouse, any settings people recommend?

I have powerlines adapters with 200mb down and 20mb up.

That is your problem right there. I ditched mine. Too much lag. Speed was good, latency was terrible.
