well the difference between a i5 980ti and an i7 98ti is 2 whole points from here could be drivers chipset who knows i'll keep on digging but it's definitely throwing some odd results for me.
infact looking at rilots score there is something seriously wrong with my results
I think the internal resolution is rendered correctly, it's just run in a window. Some monitors wouldnt cope with the actual full-screen res, would they?
It obviously must be come sort of reflection of true VR performance otherwise they wouldnt have done it!
It looks like it's rendering much lower than the resolution of with the Vive or the Rift. It's pretty much a postage stamp on my 4k screen.
At least it's better than the Rift test which just looks at your hardware specs and says 'yes' or 'no'. The Rift test says 'no' for me due to my old 2500k which it doesn't detect as overclocked and so doesn't meet the minimum.
well thats my score on a 3770K @4.4 and a 290x @stock. need to get my second card back in and finish the watercooling i think.
Also just to add i seem to have got more performance after installing the 16.2 hotfix drivers, just wondering is this test still running on DX11?? would DX12/vulcan give an improvement???
5820K + 980 Ti was a pretty safe bet for a good score but I also have a i5 3570K + GTX 670 (below) which I'm going to keep until the HTC Vive arrives and see how it handles VR titles.
