Well, mine had been cancelled (despite my order being at 18:41)

I've now been assured that a new order has been put on the system holding me a 7800GT , the problem is because the payment has been taken for the original one I now don't have enough funds to pay for the new order until the refund goes through for the original one. Should have some money coming in on Monday or Tuesday anyway so hopefully payment will be taken then and all will be well.

Phil/Gibbo if this works out and I get my card then I'm forever in your debt, sorry for the extra hassle caused by not having enough funds for the new order (having said that it's not really my fault is it, bloody banks are always quick to take money but never quick to put it back!).

ocuk shouldnt take the money before they dispatch really should they? Surely it would save a lot of hassel and grief for both parties.

When will they charge people for their orders then?

All companies charge peoples cards before their orders are dispatched, imagine if somones order was dispatched and their card was charged later, they could cancel their credit/debit card and get the order for free.

umm...the point is OcUK chagres ppl rite after they place their orders, regardless the items are in stock or not. I now have 350 quid on the air with both of my orders are cancelled :S :rolleyes:

Nah its gor an AGP MSI 6800 I ordered for £62, its gone off the page now. Wish I had ordered a 7800GT, I almost did, got to the card details then felt the icy stare of the GF on the back of my neck....

actually a lot of places only charge just before the item is dispatched and not days... weeks... before the item is even in stock.

That's the only thing I don't like about the shop, everything else is pretty much spot on now (e.g. the phone systems are MUCH better now, I was on the phone for 30 seconds before I spoke to someone)

If I had the money now I would be tempted to go for another B-Grade card, but as it is I can't.

It is strange that my order was just cancelled whereas people that seemingly ordered after me have received upgrades to 7800GTXs :confused:

. Don't get me wrong I don't care whether I get an upgrade or a 7800GT as long as I get something! I was told that I'd receive an email confirming my new order details for my 7800GT but I haven't got one yet, why do I get the distinct feeling I'm gonna miss out here? Oh well, nothing I can do now I suppose, will just have to wait till the refund for my original order shows up in my account and see if my new order gets processed

I ordered a aopen barebones system and THX speakers on thursday night, my friend ordered the same 10 mins after me, he got them and i didnt, so obviously it dosent allocate on who orders who first, just when the orders get picked up, just your luck i suppose.
