@ Gibbo yeh I'm abit ****ed too ordered GTX and got cancelled at least should have been given a chance by customer services to downgrade to the 7800GTs as I ordered at approx 4pm yesterday, bad CS in my opinion and many others who ordered the GTXs would agree I imagine

Yeah why on earth do that, I'm willing to pay £140 for a xfx 7800gtx but you give it to someone who placed an order for a 7800gt and it wasnt in stock and they're only paying what a little over £80...

Why because I am only human and only noticed issues with the 7800 GT's so by the time I noticed the handful of 7800 GTX orders I had no other options.

Well you made me a happy customer anyway Gibbo, thx mate, altho I do hope MSI's reliability on Gcards is better than there motherboards :p ;)

At the end of the day though, you knew its bargain basement and if you were quick you would get something, if you werent you wouldnt, i wasnt too annoyed at missing out on my speakers and shuttle despite ordering before the guy that got them, simply because the guy that got them is a friend, if it was some random guy that got them i would have been spitting teeth :P

Have all the people that are getting 7800GT replacements been contacted Gibbo?

Nope as with our systems been down the automated emailer programme has not, but rest assured everyone has been refunded.

Clear to see if you ordered regular 7800GT, you were better off, if you ordered before 9pm you get the card or equivilant/better spec

You ordered GTX few days before, you get shafted, no emails nothing and no other options/alternatives given.

Abit unfair how allocations were given Gibbo, no two ways about it!

Ditto, if the 6800 I get works well I will be very happy, just wish I had looked here before all the other people had got the 7800s and Id bought a new card.

Gibbo, I spoke to Phil earlier, my 7800GT order had been cancelled despite the order having been placed at 18:41 so well within the deadline. He's put a new order in for me but I couldn't pay because I don't have enough funds due to the original order not having been refunded yet (well it's hopefully been refunded but it isn't showing as available funds). Can you please confirm that this order will be honoured and if possible send me an email to confirm the new item I'll be receiving (think it was the BFG 7800GT OC)? Will it be ok to hold that item until the refund has gone back on my card, Phil said he'd try putting the payment through again early next week. Sorry to be a pain but I'd really like to know if I'm definitely getting one and not having an email for the new order (which Phil did say I'd get) is making me a bit nervous that's all.

Cheers,
Andy.

@Gibbo

Sorry not quite sure, would I be right in saying that if you've not had an email saying a cards been sent then you've been refunded instead? Or are you still sorting cards for people that ordered before 8pm yesterday?

I ordered before 8, but haven't heard anything back, does that mean I missed out?

Thanks for your help :)

umm..I dont know but if OcUK can upgrade the order of GTEE (£100) to an MSI GTX(£234), can they not do the same with GTX orders (£150) to something around 100 quid more? dont take me wrong if you were gonna do something about the situation, shouldnt it be either every orders get upgraded or not at all?
