Street Fighter 6 coming with "immersive" single player mode (2023)

For me it's all about how easy the inputs will be. I struggled with SF5 to do even basic combos, with SF4 it seemed so much more fluid.

I'm not bothered about that open world gimmick or the character creation. For me it's all about the casual and ranked games.

Really? SF5 had simpler and much more relaxed timings compared to previous titles, it's one thing a lot of people complained about.

SF6 has both classic and modern(easy) control types, modern has one button specials moves designed so new players can jump in and do moves but you also limit the potential of your character buy choosing modern.

Also SF6 launch roster now officially announced.

Nice, I like that they give you an option with the controller. Funky official roster though. Who the **** are the first 8 characters on the list of that roster? Luke? Jamie?? Wtf :p

Give us Lei Fong, M Bison, Vega, Balrog and Sagat at least damn it.

The commentator sounds awful for this type of game, I have SF4 Arcade Edition so not missing anything.

Tekken has gone the same way, awful music, peaked at Tekken 5.

Agreed. That clip was terrible. Did not suit Street Fighter at all in my opinion.

Not a chance, SF5 playing Rashid I can barely do the basic bread and butter combos. You had a lot more time to do the inputs and "buffer" them in SFV

So managed to get hold of a beta key yesterday. Game is really fun and feels very polished even in this early state. Played about 4 hours straight last night, all online matches and didn't get any lag. Online worked well and netcode felt great. Gameplay is a little slower than SF5 imo, but only in sense of its not just attack attack attack. The game has a lot of mechanics that reset to normal and a lot of characters normals seem to be less plus on block which is a welcome change.
I enjoyed what I played a lot :)

How did you get hold of it? Is it on steam? :)
