It's really a genius move to ensure he stays at Liverpool.

Wanna bet on that?
What hes gonna miss.
If he's still a Liverpool player.
So lame, terrible decision from FIFA? What's the point of a 4 month ban if 2 of those months he'll be sunning himself on holiday anyway?
The FIFA woman specifically said "including any footballing administrative actions" regarding the 4 month football activity ban.If he's still a Liverpool player.
wont he miss more liverpool games then as surely the ban doesnt start until the appeal has been sorted.bit more here:
Luis Suarez handed four month football ban
not sure what to make of this though:
"The appeal does not have a suspensive effect except with regard to orders to pay a sum of money."
The news will also come as a major blow for Liverpool, with the player now set to miss the start of the 2014/15 campaign. This will be the second consecutive season that the forward will have missed the opener to a Premier League campaign.
The ban is, however, subject to an appeal.
so, he can appeal the fine and missing LFC games but not international ones?
What hes gonna miss.

Fifa clarification on Suarez. He WOULD be able to transfer during his ban from football-related activity (hypothetically of course...) #LFC
Luis Suarez has now been banned for 34 games since 2010 without receiving a single red card
