Suarez

Not that I've seen. I've just scanned through the last page of the Suarez thread on there and only 1 poster has a picture of Suarez as his avatar (many had a pic of him prior to this anyway).

I'm sure One More Solo spends more time on RAWK than I do so he's better placed to know than I am though.

believing what he wants to believe to be the truth when the facts suggest otherwise ? does he work for the FA ?

Was just reading an article about this and how long it may be before Suarez actually serves his punishiment and one of the comments actually makes a very good albeit obviously point....

If Suarez hasn't admitted to calling Evra anything where exactly has all the stuff come from about how the word in question is culturely acceptable in his home land? At one point in time he must have admitted to using this word no?

It's all come from the same place, newspaper speculation.

Until the details of the hearing is published, we won't know for certain if Suarez has admitted to saying something, what he's admitted to saying, what his defense was and what other evidence there may or may not have been.

Personally, I believe the only reason they have managed to charge/preliminarily ban Suarez is because he's admitted calling Evra "Negrito" (I'd never heard this word before this happened). Without an admission, its one player against another and I think it would've been canned with little or no punishment.

Before this RAWK was good for a laugh because it seemed to represent a minority of extremely daft Liverpool fans with ridiculous views. Now the club themselves seem to share the same views it's not so funny. :(

How classless where the T-shirts last night! CRINGE!

Liverpool basically told the FA to do one, If they want to appeal they appeal you dont wear T-shirts throwing it back in the FA's face! Idiots.

Hope the FA come down hard on them :D

This is gonna be going to the courts i reckon, its pretty obvious now.
The Guardian have published saying the FA announced that LFC can only appeal the length of ban, and not the verdict.

To be honest, its about time the club took the fans stance on the FA.
The FA and 'INNGUURRLAANND' can do one for all we care.
And as above, i doubt we will be appealing through FA channels, so why bother?

What a load of tosh. "The FA, "Ingurland" nay the world are all against liverpool"

Such a persecution complex have had it for ages now. Why not ACCEPT your player broke a rule....he got a ban/fine....accept it or challenge it. don't go for the whole "Them against us" argument it makes you seem small and petty, Even worse dont aggravate/**** off the governing body that has handed out the punishment....thats going to get them on side...

*sigh*

Yeah, really embarrassing the whole squad were showing their unconditional support for a friend and colleague

I thought that as soon as I saw the offical statement tbh, good stuff take it as far as we can go.

Because, quite frankly, our FA make FIFA and UEFA look like competent governing bodies of world football.
And have done for .. well, since the PL was 'formed'.

The fact our club has come out and basically said the 'trial' was bias and unfair from the off, and you expect our fans to do what .. say "oh no LFC, we don't believe you .. we believe the guys who had a respect campaign which lasted 32 mins of a MUFC/LFC match"

I thought that as soon as I saw the offical statement tbh, good stuff take it as far as we can go.

I hope so too, the Echo are saying (and i can't believe they would be able to speculate on something so sensitive at the moment without some evidence) that Suarez was only allowed to give one statement, was not allowed to see any video evidence, was not allowed to hear about other peoples version of events.

Also - Evra was allowed to give multiple statements (and even change them) based on multiple pieces of video evidence.

Its also being said that Evra called Suarez in spanish a word which is (in Spanish), without being able to say the word here, a derogatory term for someone of Pakistani origin, yet thats okay.
Suarez says something in south american spanish, which isn't even offensive in that language, and gets the book thrown at him.

Now sure the paper could be speculating, but my gut feeling is they probably have some info being drip fed from the club, after all its not like there's any other national papers out there which the club can use to tell their side of the story, they've all made up their minds long before the trial finished.
