Summer Transfer Thread 2018

Looks like the Shaqiri deal will be completed today for Liverpool. I assume he's mostly going to be a squad player rather than a first teamer, hopefully he understands that if so. I could take or leave him myself, seen him be great in matches, seen him be totally nonexistant in matches, however, in the current pricing climate, for a paltry 13m, its a no brainer. Surprised really that Arsenal didnt take a punt on him at that price.

I'm surprised a few other clubs haven't, it's depth for us nothing over all special but it's what we needed.

Few claiming Fekir is back on aswell that fee remains same but structured the few of bits based on appearances.

There was claims that fekir met with aulas during mid week to say he wanted out.

An appearance based deal for Fekir would be the most logical way a deal still happens. The issue will be whether Liverpool and Lyon can agree on the amount that is guaranteed and the amount that's based on appearances - depending on how concered we are about his injury, we could want the vast majority of it being based on appearances and would Lyon accept that? The interesting thing about the deal is that from our end there's be absolutely no talk but there's been constant reports coming out of France/Lyon - that could simply be them trying to flush out other interested clubs but it could also be a sign that they're willing to try to find a compromise.
