Would quite like Agbonlahor but doubt Villa would let him go.

I agree. Degen might stay another season considering hes only played 1 or 2 games but I don't think hes any good. The Dortmund fans were a bit bewildered at the time when we got him. I think hes twin brother is supposed to be a bit better than him. Lets just sneak him in and hide Philip in rafas cupboard

King - Woodgate - Dawson - Corluka

Huddlestone and Chimbonda can play there if we're in dire straights. We've also got Rocha but I suspect he'll leave in the summer. I think funds would be better spent elsewhere?

Like LM... As for a striker, I've no idea who we could go for better than we have. Ok Bent hasn't been great but he's our top scorer, what about Pav?

I'd have young over Aggy, but I doubt Aston Villa would let him go.

Glen would be a good player for a top 10 or so side, I think he's wasted at Portsmouth.

I want god to tell Kaka to come play for Sheffield Wednesday :(

Other than Lucas, who i can't see being sold (hope im wrong), that's going to be more or less spot on for us. There's an outside chance that Benayoun could be off after he played for Israel despite being told not to due to injury and if there's cash still available (or if Lucas does go) then Barry is still going to be a target.

As for the youth/reserve players; even if we do sign a winger, striker and a rb, i don't see that affecting any of their chances. The only players that could be ready to make the step up are Pacheco and Nemeth and neither would be direct replacements for Torres (neither could play up front on their own). Darby is possibly another and he would be held back if we signed a rb but in all honesty i don't think he's going to make the grade.

King is never going to be fully fit again though and Corluka is much better at RB than CB.

I think Pav has had a good 1st season in England and a long summer break + pre-season training will bring out the best in him for our next campaign.

Bent however.... he may have a good number of goals, but they have mainly come from when we had no other choice but to play him. He scores 1 out of every 5 chances and for a Premiership side, I think we can do better. He works extremely hard but just doesn't seem to have the skill, vision, or technique that is needed. Santa Cruz would be a huge improvement over Bent.

Who's going to pay anywhere near what Spurs paid for him ?

*they won't let him go unless they get a offer about the same as they paid for him*

He's an alright player, looked promising, but not cut it this season.

No, he'll be off providing we can find a taker. He was only signed as he was free and we needed cover at rb. His injury record is a joke though; 2 first team games (both in the CC) and he came off injured in both and 2 reserve team games and got injured in both of them too.

Unfortunately i've got a horrible feeling that Johnson might be joining :(

I think Harry has got it right with King only playing him in the Prem, I think he'll be ok if we continue with that policy. Then Dawson gets a run out often enough in the cups.

Agreed about Pav and I'm not convinced about Santa Cruz, 4 goals in 17 Prem games... give me any of our current strikers anyday.

He has been dreadful this season and seems to be happy with how he's playing. That's why he's not making the first team.

I never thought he would fit into a Spurs team and neither will Downing despite the majority of Spurs fans feeling he is the LM we need.

They thought the same about MGP after a good season or two.

In a struggling Blackburn side. Go back to when Blackburn where playing decent football and he was banging them home.

I'd bet that Cruz in our system would be as productive as Berbatov was.
