As much as every Liverpool fan will disagree, I firmly believe that Benitez is a truly awful manager.

Not even going to say why because I have explained several times over the last season or two.

At the end of the season we had 2 strikers fit, McCarthy and Roberts. McCarthy was in and out of fitness and although he often played alongside Samba, he couldn't last a whole game. Putting him and Roberts on not only risked injury to one or both, but gave us very little in terms of a substitution option for McCarthy.

Although I don't disagree that Redknapp is a good manager, just what circumstances did he have to endure? Surely having a European quality squad isn't that much of a burden?

And how you can put down Redknapp given his record, I have no idea. Let's get in an ex-player instead. That would be a great idea.

I don't think its Redknapps record that makes people dislike him, its more his transfer policy. He's got a record of unsettling players at clubs by constantly talking about them in the media and I know its ticked a fair few people off.

Wow, 30 games of the season to turn things around, what an achievement . With proper motivation any squad can do well and yes he did gain 49 points after this, but with the squad he had at his disposal it was to be expected.
