You do realise that Portmouth team won the FA cup not too long ago right?

Peter Crouch is great addition as he offers something different, and Kranjcar at £2.5m is the bargain of the summer.

That's no bad thing, managers build trust and have belief in certain players whom they know can fulfil certain roles.

All the ex-players he has signed for Spurs I am more than happy with.

Yeah, I agree. It's definitely not a bad thing. It's not like their bad players and most are excellent. It would be worse if he was bringing in his old players from Bournemouth.

Yeah it would have to be pretty high considering Spurs have only really just signed him.

A current Manchester United player has informed me that Spurs and United are currently locked in talks over the possible transfer of Wilson Palacios to Old Trafford.

The fee would have to be in excess of that paid for Dimitar Berbatov to persuade Tottenham to sell, although if a fee can be agreed it is said that Palacios would jump at the chance to play for Sir Alex.
