As long as Dzeko comes good this season, City won't need any more strikers really. But after last season, that may be a gamble they'll not want to take.


Lol, "may". They won't. I await bids for every striker under the sun, Spurs style.
 
If he does leave then i see Pastore coming in and we going with one up top and just a lot of creativity behind so Silva---Pastore---Yaya or something like that with just Dzeko or Balotelli as lone striker.

Mancini has said he likes Lavezzi, Cavani etc so another striker may come in. Aguero i guess is not off the cards either.

Adebayor also is an option, Dzeko...Balotelli and Ade is pretty good front 3 and with possibly Nasri and Silva behind.
 
It's all very well Tevez saying he wants to leave (what else is new) but the problem he's got is that no one actually wants him :p

Real Madrid? Nope
Barca? Nope
Inter? Nope
Man Utd? You've got to be frigging kidding me!!!! :mad:

I guess there could be interest from Chelsea but if he wants to go back to Argentina then he's probably going to pay for the move himself as there's no chance that Boca will be able to afford his transfer fee let alone his current wages
 
We all knew Tevez wanted to leave city though. This has been on the cards for some time. The worrying prospect, particularly for Arsenal, is if they seriously pursue Nasri and Barcelona definitely go for Fabregas. I know it's been said a gazillion times, but Arsenal will struggle to replace those players like for like not a nice position to be in, especially when the fans are constantly slating the manager as well.

I actually call BS on this. I think most teams would snap him up. He's a quality striker. I think its less of a case that teams don't want him than it is a case of teams are scared to sign him up because he's constantly whining about wanting to be with his family. If he move to Spain with his family and if they were all happy living there, you'd see interested from Real/Barca straight away I think.

AC Milan seem to have a talent at signing nutter's at cut down prices, wouldn't be surprised if the made a cheeky €20m bid.

I think his antics at both United and City will put off Mourinho at Real (who likes a big target man anyway) and there's no chance Barca would be in for him not with their so called limited budget and Csec and Sanchez being their main targets (both by all accounts are all but tied up)

Surely if he is moving for family reasons then the only option is back to Argentina? Why would his family move to Spain with him but not come to England? Hope he does **** off to Argentina and disappear into mediocrity so we dont have to hear another bloody thing about him

I did, but it hasn't happened yet and now he knows that Tevez is leaving he may be tempted to come to us.

Can't see us selling him off cheap, he either pays out his contract or runs down his contract.

Sky just mentioned an email where one guy said he was upset that he had Tevez printed on the new shirt.

No person in their right mind would get Tevez 32 considering the amount of turmoil over him staying or going.

Apparently his ex wife would move to Spain, as far as i am aware, He is no longer with the mother of his children and it is her who will not move to England and she has custody of the children. She will move to Spain with the children but not England for obvious reasons.

Thing that annoys me is that he complains saying he cant understand films, doesnt go out to restaurants, doesn't go to other players houses etc. He has made little to no attempt to learn to speak english. Something that would have massively helped.

Have we signed Downing and Doyle yet? I'm afraid I can't take Arsene's talk of ambition seriously until we wrap these kind of big names up.
