worrying times for arsenal. no one listsned to me and laughed at me when i suggested we should sack wenger.

look whos laughing now. clichy is gone and most likely wont be replaced and nasri and fabregas is next to leave.

Not only are we selling our first 11 players, but to our rivals it seems

in wenger we trust

Clichy is gone. Hardly the end of the world is it.

Nasri and clichy are both in their last 12 months so if they want to leave then it is up to them. Not ideal but it happens to every manager and not just wenger.

Fab, we all knew he was leaving last season or this. No surprise there. If we had got rid of wenger then he would have left a lot sooner.

So no, i don't think we should get rid of him. He is a fantastic manager of the club and although his ideas might frustrate some, most teams would love to have him as their manager.

AS reporting that Coentrao has signed for Madrid, for what its worth.
Regarding liverpool, im back off holiday and i cant believe we still haven't signed anyone else.

or maybe he hates not being able to see his kids or watch them grow up? asking a man to give up his family is a lot to ask. that's what makes him a man, unlike dwight yorke.

Ok he says that he cannot see his kids, and that is his priority now? Well how would playing for a different club change the amount of time he sees his children?

As for his family situation, I think I would suck up working in another country and earning millions to secure the future of my family for generations to come.

Plenty of players are in his situation, but they get on with life and visit their family when they can and etc. Tevez just moans about how much he hates what he's doing.

For example, Palacios's brother was kidnapped and killed in his hometown, he did not once bitch or moan about it.

The Tevez subject is different for a lot of people, maybe I'm just not that family orientated and would not understand, but I would jump at the chance to secure my familys future while enjoying probably the best job in the world.

Agreed.

Well if he played for Real or Barca etc then his kids etc would move to Spain and they would live there. So he could see them all the time.
The reason he wants to leave is because he rarely sees them, if he moved to Spain they would be together all the time.

What i dont understand is why they they cant just move to Spain then he can fly to Spain nearly every day and vice versa.

But the point is, he doesn't have to work away. He is already super rich and his family are probably set up for life. If his family are more important to him than his job then there is no reason why he shouldn't play nearer to home.

If he moves nearer home it is not like he is going to earn that much less in money. He will then get to play football, earn loads of money and see his family more. How is that not a winning situation for him?

Or it might all just be a way of getting a transfer being under contract. Who knows.

do you know what a visa is? or right to permanent residence?

you can't just move your whole family to any country that you so choose. also why would they want to move and why would tevez want them all to move? i'm sure they are perfectly fine with living in argentina. he wants to be with his kids, not his aunts and uncles or cousins.

if my cousin played for real madrid and he said to me, come live in spain with me, i'll move your whole family over here, i would decline, first of all i dont speak spanish, second of all, wtf am i going to do in spain apart from live off my cousin? it's hardly a honest living or something to be proud of.

why doesn't he just buy a few submarine's and tow argentina into the channel?

lol :D

Then he shouldn't have signed a long contract tbh, if you're gonna miss your family so much why would you commit 5 years in soggy Manchester :p

Had he learnt English I think it would have been really different. Look at Zabaleta, he has family in Argie but got on with it and learnt English and that makes living in England a lot more tolerable. I am not sure if he has kids or not so I guess its a little different for Tevez.

tbh, Mansour should just build a huge dome in his garden whack on the AC and patio heater and move Tevez's family in there :p

News:
Ambitious Ligue 1 outfit Paris St Germain have made a move for Brazil international midfielder Lucas.

Wouldnt want to lose Lucas really, think he has come along in leaps and bounds and whilst not grabbing the limelight and plaudits does incredibly well

Coentrao has signed for Real Madrid for €30m, I guess that answer the question as to why he wasn't a target for City when they decided to go for Clichy

Wonder what that means for that horrible little **** that they've already got at LB (Real that is)

Coentrao can play all along the left, might still see Marcelo at LB with Coentrao playing in front.

I guess it depends what formation Jose will go with.

If he hadn't signed such a big contract, City wouldn't be looking at getting 30-50mil for him, if he signed a two year contract he'd be walking out for free. Meaning City have zero interest in signing a top player on a two year contract, and Tevez had the option to sign for huge money on a big contract or not at all.

Flying everyday is just a bad idea, his family moved to Manchester, then moved away as they couldn't stand it there, not sure what the big deal is. They tried, it didn't work, he wants to move on to be with his family. they'll not move back to Manchester but Spain/Italy will be FAR closer to a south american lifestyle both in weather and people, attitude, places.

He could have signed for two years and left you with nothing, he might have not signed, instead you got a quality player for 2 years, up with the best in the league, massively involved in City's moving into the top four. Now he'll leave and you'll pocket a huge wad of cash......... where's the downside here and why would City fans have a problem with him?

Marcelo had started to look really handy at LB at Real non?

No, can't defend for crap, theres a massive number of simply rubbish teams in the league, then theres Barca, and Marcelo was pants defensively against them each time, he's a horrible defender, and inconsistantly good going forward. he was being used more on the wing last season as he's pretty awful defensively which left them sticking in Arbeloa quite a bit who, didn't impress at all.
