Well the press have apparently finally noticed Wenger's like of winger/strikers, so every half winger half striker in the world is apparently a target of Wengers :p

This is the dumb thing with Wenger, Bendtner shouldn't be any good on the right wing, yet he is, he's even pretty good defensively and for a big lumbering looking dude he gets back for almost every opposition attack and kills himself getting forward. Great workrate, good control, holds up the ball, good passer in that he often chooses the right pass to maintain posession and/or go forwards.

He is such an improvement on Theo its a joke, almost anyone starting ahead of THeo would be a great team improver, even if he does get goals, he doesn't get anymore than any other half decent winger but the rest of his game is so severely lacking. I wouldn't be against buying a really good winger, I don't think it would be hard to get someone better than Bendtner on the wing, just considering all the positions we need to replace/strengthen, seems a bit of a waste to get rid of Bendtner.

If any striker is being sold then surely it should be Chamakh. The guy is useless with his feet, and despite being 6 foot something he's crap in the air as well.

SSN showing footage of Ngog leaving Melwood with his belongings (football belongings at least) in a black bag so it appears he's off.

I just had a mental image of him standing in the car park with Kenny throwing a black bin liner full of football stuff at him and shouting "It's over" haha

1223: A source close to Carlos Tevez tells BBC Sport's Simon Austin it is now "impossible" for Tevez to leave Man City before the end of the transfer window, adding there had been two bids for the player, including an offer of a permanent deal from Inter Milan, but that these did not get near City's valuation.

Well there is a surprise.

You still haven't learnt that logic and Wenger really really doesn't mix?

:p

Seriously yes, Eboue/Bendtner would be the last two players I would sell, that didn't actually want to go. Both should EASILY start in the squad we've had for the past 3 years and both have been treated like crap. I couldn't have been more clear on Chamakh last summer, free transfer = big wages = not free, and he will not play, utter waste.

Chamakh should be sold, I've made that clear, we can actually clear a profit if we sell him soon enough.

If we switch to a 4-4-2 Bendtner should be convinced to stay, we should have cashed in on Sagna as frankly with a new leftback and CB's people will probably notice how **** he is this year and he'll be worth smeg all.

Wenger just seems to get everything wrong, and as I've said all transfer window, I still don't have faith new players will be used effectively. Theres a story about Fergie today about how players are only half the battle, attitude is the rest, and Wenger's team attitude is, horrific frankly.

I still think no matter who we buy we won't be "great" again till we get a new manager, I'm actually thinking football wise, manager wise, other than maybe a Hiddink who does both passing and organising defences well. Theres quite a few german managers around at the moment who have great passing/attacking sides, Dortmund's manager seems to be building a quite silly team and hey, get him and maybe he can drag Gotze over as managers tend to be able to do ;)

What the ****! How **** are SSN.

Reporter in Stoke just said that it's believed Crouch wouldn't want a move to Stoke and would prefer Sunderland or QPR. This bloody woman then says to the reporter in Sunderland that it's believed he could be on the way to Stoke.

Morons.

I'm surprised that Tevez hasn't left Man City, I think everyone on here had assumed he was basically 'gone'.

Good for them though, what a squad :o

Germany have one of the best young International teams out there right now, some of the young talent they have is just scary.

Lol.

Apparently Llambias the Toon MD was ringing sky reporters at 4am asking them if they were up because ge was and he was trying to sign players :p

Deal for some German striker fell through already and apparent Sochaux don't want to sell their forward. :( they need to get something sorted!

Indeed. Some of the younger talent in Germany remind me of the young talent Spain had coming through 2 years or so before their rise to the top of the international world.
Wouldn't be surprised at all to see them win a Euro's and a WC sometime in the next 8 years.

Love how Cole to Lille has been confirmed on both clubs websites yet SSN before the break were still banging on about Cole to AVFC ;)

LFC: Make sure you keep your TV glued to the club channel for any Liverpool announcements today. #deadlineday
Tellin'yer there's more incoming .

Sunderland agreed a fee with QPR for them to sign Anton Ferdinand. Is going to go have his medical right now.

From the BBC rumour feed haha

"Arsenal interested in Belgian defender Mark de Man. Apparently, they are also tracking his compatriots, striker Skor de Gaulle and goalkeeper Bloek de Schott."
