I'm surprised that Tevez hasn't left Man City, I think everyone on here had assumed he was basically 'gone'.

Good for them though, what a squad :o

I suspect he'll move to Corinthians in January now and hardly feature for City between now and then

He will play against Wigan and will likely feature a few more times but i do agree that he will probably be gone in Jan if Corinthians can give the proof that we wanted originally.

You still haven't learnt that logic and Wenger really really doesn't mix?

:p

Seriously yes, Eboue/Bendtner would be the last two players I would sell, that didn't actually want to go. Both should EASILY start in the squad we've had for the past 3 years and both have been treated like crap. I couldn't have been more clear onChamakh last summer, free transfer = big wages = not free, and he will not play, utter waste.

Chamakh should be sold, I've made that clear, we can actually clear a profit if we sell him soon enough.

If we switch to a 4-4-2 Bendtner should be convinced to stay, we should have cashed in on Sagna as frankly with a new leftback and CB's people will probably notice how **** he is this year and he'll be worth smeg all.

Wenger just seems to get everything wrong, and as I've said all transfer window, I still don't have faith new players will be used effectively. Theres a story about Fergie today about how players are only half the battle, attitude is the rest, and Wenger's team attitude is, horrific frankly.

I still think no matter who we buy we won't be "great" again till we get a new manager, I'm actually thinking football wise, manager wise, other than maybe a Hiddink who does both passing and organising defences well. Theres quite a few german managers around at the moment who have great passing/attacking sides, Dortmund's manager seems to be building a quite silly team and hey, get him and maybe he can drag Gotze over as managers tend to be able to do ;)

FAIL HAS BEEN HIGHLIGHTED

Seriously, what the frick? Is this guy for real? What a deluded moron!

Chamakh scored 12 goals I believe. Not bad for a free-transfer. Players can't be paid nothing, so I don't understand how you can say he is no free. Serious face palm.

Chief football writer Phil McNulty on Twitter: "Leicester City interest in Jermaine Beckford understood be bid of £2.5m - must now persuade him. May free up cash for Everton loan deal."

day off work today so got sky sports news on the tv and bbc updates on the computer.

Seems to be a busy day so far.

Hoping for a top signing for Arsenal to replace Fabregas/Nasri.

Seriously, I'm trying to work out how old you are, I think 13 sounds too old for you.

Heres a hint, Sagna is crap, really really crap, he can't defend, end of, at some point people will notice and we won't be able to get the same price for him. When others in the defence are worse(Squillaci, Djourou, Kos) people dont' blame Sagna, if he ends up lining up with Santos, Verm and Mertesacker, Sagna will be the very very weak link in that line up.

As for Chamakh, he's on 80k a week, almost every "free transfer" player ends up with higher wages, he's barely worth 40k a week, 80k a week is 4mil a year, over a 5 year contract thats 20mil we'll end up paying him, hence... not free. If we paid 10mil and he was on 40k a week, end of 5 years, SAME AMOUNT. So he's not really a free player, and he's not really very good, but the main point that you ignored is, he was never ever going to be a starting player in a team Wenger is sticking with a 4-5-1 formation.

Last seaosn we needed, proper defenders, we got crap ones, we needed DM's, we got none, and we needed wingers. Instead we bought a 5th choice striker for 4mil a year, 4mil a year we can't spend on other players, it was a horrible deal from the first second.

The issue isn't if he's any good, the issue is, we're about to blow 20mil on this guy, IS HE EVEN GOING TO PLAY. Answer is, with RVP fit, he was our 4th/5th choice striker, and that 20mil could have been FAR better spent on one of the several positions we actually needed.

Attitude, every single pundit, fan, commentator, paper, 90% of Arsenal fans, 90% of other fans think Arsenal's attitude/mentality is COMPLETELY WRONG, hence, losing to Brum in an easy game, making a mistake, and crumbling completely for the rest of the season. Teams full of winners with a winning attitude don't crumble after one defeat, Arsenal do, badly, every team.

Beckford was Everton't join top scorer last season, they need to keep him :D

It's pretty funny Beckford coming back to the Championship after wanting the Prem for so long.
