Some interesting signings, Stoke seem to of done well Crouch is class, was a hit at Pompey and we were garbage.

Newcastle dont seem to of done anything, QPR have signed some decent players.

Spurs turning down 40m for modric seems stupid if he wants to leave, and getting decent money for Crouch and the other guy then not buying Cahill, but 12m for a player who can be free next season seems to make sense of that.

wenger might of been a park, mertesacker and arteta fan for a very long time.

Arsenal have one of the biggest scouting networks going its massive. he will of studied these players and know where they can fit in. Wenger certainly isnt someone to just buy someone on a "whim"

It's still panic buying, Wenger's finally realised how poor the squad is and is trying to bring improvements in.

How many times has he given players well past their prime more seasons that he should when they are well past their best instead of planning better for replacement.
