I've never seen the him play but the Dutch lad Strootman that's getting spoken about recently has today been described by his manager Dick Advocaat as the Dutch Gareth Barry.... DO NOT WANT!!!!
On the other hand - nearly every young Dutch midfielder is better than majority of Utd 's central midfield (and better than Barry come to that)
No disrespect to BD in the slightest, but he should be snapped up by an even bigger club imo
He's getting snapped up by a CL finalist team with a fantastic manager, fans and squad, where else should he be looking to go to further his career?

BD are a fantastic side and I would imagine that its perfect for a player like Erikson. He would suit their style and BD are a selling club regardless of their recent achievements so he would be fairly confident of being allowed to move to Real et al in the future if he wanted.

Barca, Real, Bayern, Utd, City, Chelsea, PSG and that super rich Russian club, Anzhi iirc??...to name but a few bigger clubs.
Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United & Bayern München are the only bigger clubs you've listed.
Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain , Chelsea and Anzhi Makhachkala are Nouveau riche clubs.
but but but Newcastle have the best fans in the world?! Which is what i was using when listing the bigger clubs, in terms of financial clout and spending.
As i said to Robbo, i mentioned those clubs due to the financial spending power they have, so Chelsea, City, PSG and Anzhi can also be regarded as big clubs albeit financially.
It all depends on what Frank meant by bigger clubs of course whether it is financial or more to do with supporters and fan base around the world.
