Fs is there going to be any signings for united or what? Other clubs are just trolling us so hard by signing these midfielders, must be just a huge group of them sitting together laughing at us as they pass them around.

All of our eggs are still firmly in the Fabregas basket, it seems. Something has to give soon either way, Moyes has a press conference tomorrow so hopefully he will be pestered about it.

The Ronaldo rumours aren't going away though, it would be such a complex deal however and I can't see it happening, amazing as it would be.

Looking at some comments today from Sandro Rosell and Zubizarreta, they seem pretty confident he isn't going anywhere and the latter said we understand and won't persist, so.

I'm just waiting for the announcement next week that Scholes will sign a 1 year contract and Phil Neville is included in the squad.

Whereas Andy Mitten said this definitely isn't the case and he's our number one target, say sources at the club.

Yep, he's the last thing keeping my hope alive. To be fair, the 'suits' always say the same old crap, so who knows what's happening. I think they just want a bigger offer, and understandably so. They will also know we're pretty desperate to sign a midfielder and he's the best 'available' (or possibly available) one out there.

Amongst the rumours Cesc wouldn't do an interview with TV after the game the other day, especially when asked about United.
 
I'm getting really ****ing bored with it all now, I would like in a way to just add a couple of squad playing midfielders tbh.

I've also got this thing with Fabregas where I really don't like him, I like that he has a bit of nastiness about him but his attitude a couple of times has riled me, he would add an enormous amount to us as a football club to have a top midfielder next to Carrick but he's not like a RvP, where he played for the opposition but I never really hated him, I have at times hated Fabregas for little things.

I also think he would look weird in our shirt.

I think the club just want a a 'marquee' signing to show some backing etc and then as you say, some squad players.

I think once or if we get a marquee then one or two may follow.

I've never really opposed it to be fair but he would be a squad player I think and rotated quite a lot and you can't pay £22 million for a squad player. His elbows would see him off in a fair few CL games as well.

We would play him as a DM anyway and that's pretty much sewn up by Carrick.

I was thinking more Cabaye for a cheeky 10 mil.
 
I hope we get Fellaini anyway (for a reasonable price), he gives us a bigger threat from set pieces and adds some muscle to our PL games. Fellaini next to Carrick would 'do', but we should be aiming higher. I don't even want to start on Anderson and Cleverley as they aren't reliable and never stay fit (Anderson at least).

We should be but if we can't get them we should be looking to pad the squad out a little bit so we have options.
 
today's times has an article also stating spurs are interested in suarez but it's a bit of a non story tbh. in another article it says rodgers has slapped a £100m price tag on him
