Summer Transfer Window 2021/2022

Breaking news saying that the 100m deal for Grealish is done and he will be joining Man City after the Euros

Has to be said, if they stick with Sterling and get Kane, then City next season will have Foden, Grealish, Sterling, De Bruyne and Kane. Thats a pretty scary line up.

100 mil:cry::cry:

How does he do it?

I know fees are higher nowadays but he hasnt done anything to convince me he's worth that kind of money. Still, its good to know the league is still competitive like it wasnt going to be with the big 6.

Would be great for England as hopefully they'd get a brilliant bit of chemistry together.

I dont really know what to make of it all, I mean its the way football has been going for a long time now but something just seems wrong about it all but maybe I only think that way because I'm not a City supporter :)

The old firm clubs will end up rioting. The way football is going it reminds me of the old school days of the BTCC where the spending just went nuts. One day it will just capitulate and be a massive mess. It already is with the like of Madrid and Barca.

This is deep down why I am not bothered about Ole at United. No matter what you do they will never match Manchester City. Okay they lost last year's champs league but it only a matter of time before they go and win several.

Supposedly, although the price for that is in itself bonkers, I like Mcginn, but not for 50m, it almost seems that these days 50m is just the default entry price for any player.

It makes little sense to spend 50 million on him when you could have just increased Gini's salary for what 10 million outlay?

It kind of is for any half decent player who is important to a PL club. The money in the PL means that 50m isn't insane money to a club that might suffer if they sell a few of their top players. AV would be in the Championship right now without Grealish.

We should be able to beat a team like villareal who cost less than one if our players though ?
