Summer Transfer Window 2021/2022

Don’t United pay squad players massive amounts too and that’s why they struggle to get players off the books?

Something like 700k p/w on goalkeepers, JLingz and Jones getting new improved contracts when no longer required >100k p/w and even with the formers great form at WHU they’ll still struggle to get him off the books.

There’s almost no chance he’s not going to get an increase if he does move.

That's the problem when you are not the force you used to be and need to attract the big stars I am afraid. There has been a step change however and most of the people on big wages are legacy players who have been there a long time.

Tripper is 30. Completely backwards maneuver.

Sell jlingz for 30. Alternate brandan at rb with Mr no skill at rb and think of the future. Thats what I would do

People said the same thing about Mr Ribena when he went to Liverpool. I would argue he was one of the key players for them when they were winning. He was 30 on free.

Officially it would be his 4th although he had a loan at QPR as well.

He's got a good shot but doesn't actually score that many goals, in his entire career he's never managed double figures in a season and that's across all competitions not just league games. Even when on loan in the lower leagues his best ever was 2 goals a season in all comps.

To me it seems like a bit of a strange buy for Everton, as they have a squad that is set up for playing wingbacks rather than wingers, although Rafa may want to switch that up I guess.

Townsend is a free, don't see the huge risk really, but depends on his wage. With Rafa's coaching he might kick on.
