Summer Transfer Window 2021/2022

For a team like Villa a player like Grealish is life or death for them and the difference between being a top half side and relegation fodder. 100 Million doesn't equate to that. The difference when he was injured last season was night and day.

I would say it is similar to when Liverpool sold Suarez and Spurs sold Bale. They both fell off a cliff after losing their star player.

I think thats a bit strong to be honest but even so 100 mil is a lot of money for Grealish.

I think he is worth somewhere around that for a team that would get the most out of him but I don't think that team is City. That being said, whats £100m to them.

Spurs finished 5th then 6th then 5th?

They weren't as exciting to watch, granted.

I think hes flavour of the month personally and dont think he fits City at all. I really dont get the appeal.

I mean hes a good player, no doubt about it, but 100 mil ?

Bonkers money

I don't think he's really that much different to Foden (on the whole). I mean he's not particularly fast, City need some power and cutting edge speed, not necessarily more creative players.

Lets be honest, Pep has just seen how many goals Sterling scored in the Euros when used by a top class manager and is just going to try and emulate that. Sterling CF and Grealish to take Sterlings place on the left.

I'm sure I will get shouted down for this opinion but Sterling was crap at the Euros until he was in the box and getting on the end of stuff. Outside of that he runs into trouble too much, slows the team down and doesn't know when to run and when to pass. I think he could do well as a fox in the box.

he missed quite a few sitters - and even one or two he scored - it was the creation of them that was the good part, not that he actually scored (imo)
